Things could be better, but I'd give it 5 stars anyways. We get like 30ish minutes for lunch, and the school grows and grows with new teachers and more competitive students entering each grade. I'm still going here, now in 11th grade, as I'd recommend it to anyone rather than Alliance or other schools if it is more convenient to go here. We've been going strong after the pandemic, and I know not many people have been looking at where we're at now, but I'd say we're doing pretty well in retrospect, even if we aren't yelling it from the hallways or classrooms of our APs, IBs, etc.

They are an extension of our family... and I would trust ANY of their staff with either of my children at ANY time. My children have grown up in this facility... and the quality of our children's character is due, in part, to the guidance and love they've received from the staff at Discovery Point. The wonderful teachers at Discovery Point are nothing but kind, compassionate, loving, and caring individuals who care deeply about the well being of EVERY child that walks through that front door. We came across Pinecrest Academy. The minute we drove onto the campus for our tour I knew "this is it"! There was such a sense of peace within all the beauty that the campus has. We met with Mrs. Margaret Frain. She was so lovely, and you could truly feel her love for the school through her tour and presentation. Well, the rest is history. We have been here for 3 years (going on an upcoming 4) and also have our youngest starting this year. Pinecrest has been an absolute blessing. The teachers and faculty are wonderful, the staff is caring, you become a part of the Pinecrest community the minute you begin. I could not have asked for a better experience for my children and for our family. We have seen our oldest daughter flourish in academics as well as in our faith, and look forward to the same for our youngest!

She has flourished under the care of her teachers and talks about her friends in her class when she gets home in the afternoon. The staff attrition has been ridiculous…read morethis year, the administration is incapable of smoothly running the school and the teachers are not qualified. I removed my daughter early to spend these last two weeks of school at home because we could not take anymore. Do not be fooled by the website, as what's listed there is NOT what they offer. The teachers can't spell or use basic grammar correctly and should NOT be instructing students (my daughter's teacher even misspelled her name on her graduation certificate and in the graduation program after being in her class for TWO YEARS and after addressing the spelling multiple times). Disparaging comments were made by her teacher to me and around my daughter about autistic students in her class. The school is run by a company called Endeavor that is based out of Florida and is money grab. I reached out to them with my concerns and was given the runaround. Several other parents at the school have banded together and will not be returning. We all reached out about concerns with no changes being made by the administration. My daughter was bullied NUMEROUS times-even physically assaulted- and it took extreme action on my part to get the bully removed from the school. Bathrooms that don't fully function for most of the year, only having hot running water and no cold water in some area...the list of issues with the school and staff goes on and on.
