I just knew there had to be something special in there waiting for me! I opened the door and immediately noticed the large amount of inventory crammed into this little store. There was so much to choose from, I didn't even know where to start. No lie! I ended up starting towards the front of the room and eventually worked my way to the back. After browsing around for some time, I discovered everything from full tea sets to old photos, tons of jewelry, some awesome wall mirrors (with a touch of paint they'll be good as new!), records, and so much more! The fella that runs the placed is named Bob and he was so sweet. He has his nameplate on the desk next to the register, which made it really easy for me to know who to ask for when I was ready to check out. I assured him that I'll be back on Saturdays after the farmers market and he said he's almost always there (unless he's visiting Florida, haha). After about 15 minutes of looking around, I found a handful of cool jewelry pieces that I wanted. I ended up narrowing my option down to a really pretty blue pendant that simply needed a chain to be turned into a bohemian style necklace. For only a few dollars, I practically had a brand new piece of jewelry that could go with just about anything in my closet. Absolute score! I can truly say that I'm eager to make this a more regular stop on my weekend trips to the market. I recently moved and my furniture was damaged. I had chips and gouges in some very beautiful book…read moreshelves and my bedroom set. The bedroom set was cherry and quite expensive. The movers not only dented the wood but gouged and chipped it. Cherry is so hard to fix because the color changes as it ages. Tom from 1st Class Restorations came in and did an awesome job. I can't even see where the damage was. He is an artist. There was an eighth inch gouge in the corner of my chest of drawers and he filled it in, sanded it so it was unnoticeable, and matched the color so perfectly that you can not find the chip. The scvrapes along the corners and the scratches are likewise gone! I am so pleased. This was my favorite furniture and I had thought it was damaged beyond repair. It is beautiful again. I will hire Tom and First Class again if I ever need to fix my furniture.
