5/5 Stars -- Absolute perfection! Better than brand new. I…read moream completely blown away by the work Furniture Magicians in Newport News did on my cabinet. They gave it a high-end, classic Pottery Barn look by applying a stunning black matte stain to the exterior, while keeping the original hardware and beautifully cleaning/buffing the original oak interior and shelves. The craftsmanship is pristine, and the contrast looks gorgeous. To top it off, they updated my French country wall clock to match the black matte cabinet perfectly. The turnaround time was incredibly fast (less than 3 weeks). They were professional, gave regular updates, and handled everything with the utmost care. I will definitely call on them again and highly recommend them!

He has no social skills, he called me all kind of names in the book,he just finally finished and he didn't actually finish the work correct on my deck as of Oct. 11, 2022. My husband and I had extreme arguements with him. I have all the emails of everything and my neighbors said he would come to my house and just sit around when I wasn't home and sleep they said he was on something. He kept on saying we owed more for the work and I have the contracts of what we were to pay him. He got real mad and said he was going to take a lien out on my home and pointed in my face that they were going to laugh me out of court. Anyone reading this please don't hire him!!!

I had an old style two bulb light fixture with a square diffuser which had seen its better days. With my recent decorations it stood out like a muskrat in a meercat clan. I purchased a small faux chandelier (called a sputnik) with six arms. I also purchased a set of 15W bulbs for it because the room is smallish, and I didn't want it to overwhelm the space. Mr. Mann came out and without hesitation gave me a fair price and installed it without incident. It was perfect. At first, we thought it might be too dim but after a few weeks with it, I find it is the perfect illumination for the room. Mr. Mann is the consummate professional and is very knowledgeable. I like his style and workmanship. I would recommend him for any handyman service you may need around your house.

I paid $2000 up front (max I could get from ATM in a day) to make sure the door was ordered, but to also help out a small business by paying up front. I got the door a few weeks later. A few days after that he came out and started to demo the old door frame. I have not seen him since. I have texted with no response, called with no answer. He did text me a month and a half ago saying he hasn't forgotten me, but it seems he has. It has been over 4 months since I got a quote and meanwhile I have a door sitting outside waiting to be installed, and money paid in good faith to get the project done is gone. In short, I am out over $1000 after hiring him for a job. No receipts, just texts, so nothing I can do. Except a bad review and a sob story on yelp.
