We were looking for a place to recover the seat of my husband's 25 year old motorcycle. He has had…read moreto do this at least once in the past, but our previous option is no longer in business. At high elevation, the sun is strong and our summer to winter temperatures vary greatly in this climate. Seats do no last long. There are a few places in Denver, one known for fancy stitchery of a very different sort of bike. We were looking for someone who could do the simplicity of our original seat style and not far from Boulder. Boulder no longer has any repair and replacement options for motorcycles. I called a few places I found on Yelp and Google. I found this close and easy to access option with 5 star Yelp reviews and thought we would go talk to them. We did that a few weeks ago and they measured the seat and decided on some simple textured black marine grade covering. It's what the bike originally had on it when we got it new. They ordered the material, gave us the price it would cost to have it done and it seemed totally appropriate to us so we approved it. The work was done in their shop, even though they were in the process of moving the entire establishment to a location about 6 blocks away. Total time was a few weeks, as promised. We could see that they also do furniture and vintage cars as well. Michael and David were so friendly and helpful and true to their word. They are still in need of a new sign out front, so check the directions well to find the parking lot on the west side of Main St, between a restaurant and a used car lot. Note the new address when Yelp posts the change I submitted. It is 1120 Main St. And definitely call first before going out to see about your project.

Tried to see them when the time was up, NOPE, not yet. I did allow a little leeway on the timeframe just in case. 2 additional attempts to pick them up...NO GO. Finally they called to say they were done. I drove 120 miles to pick them up. NOT DONE, NOT PUT TOGETHER are you kidding me? Waited hours locally and picked them up before they closed. THE WORST JOB I HAVE EVER SEEN! and now Sandy wanted $1600. $500 more than the estimate and no notice just expected me to pay. We finally settled on $1300 so I could take possession of my seats. for the extra $500 she wanted she could have painted or died the seat belts! NOPE! The seats have bumps and wrinkles, sags on the driver seat. Should have added new foam pieces and trimmed or sanded. More than 20 years in business... I CALL BS! Sandys daughter apparently stole thousands of $$$ from here so I think she is trying to make it up fast! Sandy sits in her office and has no idea what her help is doing. If I give an estimate I stick top it OR CALL THE CUSTOMER! Maybe its time for her to give up and just sell her flags since they are premade from another company. I have many pictures and will spread the word far and wide!! Facebook, BBB, Google Maps, my website...and look for the pictures of the crappy work! You should go elsewhere.
