Anyone who owns a boat will understand: our boat would NOT start. Our "vacation" was in serious jeopardy. While I was bust trying to get it started, my wife called several places. ("Sorry..." "Booked solid...") No Joy... Finally, she called Tampa Boat Repair. It turned out that they were located about 5-minutes from where we were staying. However, It was the day before Thanksgiving, and it was about 3PM... Ronnie was finishing a job in north Tampa, but he agreed to meet me on his way home... Did I mention that they are a mobile service...? He met me at our boat, performed several diagnostic tests, pulled the front of the engine cover, and found a fouled carb. 10-minutes later, we were back in business...! I eagerly paid his (modest) fee with a generous tip. I wish i could offer more than just a five-star rating for Ronnie's responsiveness and accommodation. In short, he saved our vacation. Update : after filling my boat after they replaced my fuel sending unit TWICE...it is leaking a ton…read morecausing environmental issues and the company now refuses to send someone to fix it. I was more than accommodating bringing it to them again the second time. However this THIRD time they stated "in their professional opinion it's leaking somewhere else causing their install to fail". Well you guys were 100% wrong and just didn't install it decent enough. I paid another company to fix your mess up and guess what....its fixed. Pretty crappy service after you pay them over 13k...I have endless pics and videos of all texts, proof showing where it was specifically leaking.
