If you live out of town, read the return policy closely (because it didn't match what the website said until after I pointed out the difference)! We rented a tux for my daughter's date who does not have a mother to do those things. This event was held on a Saturday. By 1:00 on Monday Sharon called me demanding to know where his tux was and if it would be back by 4:00 or I'd be paying $100. I remembered seeing on the website that it was a $25 fee if you didn't get it back there on Monday. I apologized and explained that I did not have the tux and he was not my son but I would get it figured out. I thought I had until Wednesday to return it. At 4:40 she called me again appalled that I couldn't get there that day and I again explained- he's not my son, I live over an hour away, I was at work. "Well you'd save yourself $100!" If I could have performed a magic trick I guess I could have driven 50+ miles in 20 minutes with a tux I didn't have. By this time I'm in tears trying to figure out how to avoid paying another $300 for a tux rental. They are closed on Tuesday so then said they would get back to me on if I could drop it off Tuesday. Deb called and said it was 4:30 on Tuesday or nothing. I was fortunate enough to work it out with my sister to get it dropped off (oh, and make sure you have the $100 plus tax they reminded me). Then on Tuesday she called at 3:45 and asked if I could come right now because she was there meeting someone else. I thought that was interesting because she had told me previously it was 4:30 or nothing on Tuesday, and now she's expecting me to be 45 minutes early. I have never had such a poor customer service experience in my life. It really made me sad because I got my wedding dress there years ago. But I guess if you are renting and not buying, it is a totally different experience. Straight up rude to me from the get-go. No compassion or consideration for the situation I was in and nothing but threats of increased fines even though they knew I was doing everything in my power to get it there ASAP. WILL NEVER GO BACK FOR ANYTHING. read more

I had such a wonderful experience here! When I first walked in, we were greeted by a sweet lady who set up an appointment for later that day. I was shopping for a homecoming dress, and the kindest lady named Judy helped me find the perfect one. She made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. I had made an appointment about a month in advance for my fiancé and one of his groomsmen to get fitted for tuxes. When we walked in we were greeted by an older gentleman who was very friendly. Two of the consultants claimed they were searching and searching for our paperwork when (about 10-15 minutes later) they finally asked if I got my dress there when I said no their response was "Well that's why we can't find your paperwork" like it was my fault they didn't ask that right away? After I told them I did not get my dress there they seemed like they were just done with us and it all went downhill from there. After we figured that all out we went in knowing basically only our colors that we were looking for. We had a lot of questions mainly because we were unsure if we were going to go with tuxes or a little more casual. Every time we asked a question the consultant seemed to be annoyed. It was about 30 minutes into our consultation when another worker came up and asked if we were about finished. She did that 2 more times while we were there, I looked at our consultant and said I guess we are being rushed and I walked out. It was an awful experience and I do not recommend going there. read more

This was not a good experience for us. I went to this store filled with excitement with my sister and daughter to look at bridesmaid dresses. Not wedding dresses this day. We were greeted by a gentleman and I told him I just wanted to look at bridesmaid dress styles and colors. First he responded with "COLORS??" like it was something he had never in his life heard of and was offended I would ask such a stupid thing. He immediately asked us if we had an appt. When we said no he was very dismissive to us after that. We did not know it was by appt. only on Saturdays. So instead of politely telling us that and asking if we would like to schedule something, he walked away and came back and said a consultant would be right with us. We removed our shoes, as their signs request, and waited. We waited ten minutes at the door until the consultant came out. I believe it was the owner Deb. She informed us we could not look at any dresses that day. But if we would like to come back by appt on a Saturday we sure could for just $50 (which I am now confused about as it states $25 on their cover photo). When I asked why I would have to pay $50 just to look at colors and styles she let me know it was so I could have their undivided attention. Or we could come during the week for no fee. They close at 5:30 and you are supposed to allow for 2 hours with their consultant. I don't know about others, but this is not feasible with my work. I was also told I have plenty of time until my wedding so coming back shouldn't be a problem. I understand they were busy, but that does not give anyone the right to be dismissive and condescending to people that are potentially going to spend thousands of dollars in your store. We walked out and said we will never go back in that store. I was near tears because of the tone and dismissiveness that was used with us. Very poor customer service. I feel having good customer service is not something I should have to pay a $50 fee for. read more

Awful, horrible service-avoid at all cost! I was a bridesmaid in a recent wedding, I was from out of town and got measured at a bridal store that sold the same kind of dress. The store in my town measured and recommended that I go up one size as I was right on the edge of the lower size, I called Fiancées and gave them my measurements and asked for the larger size. The lady was incredibly rude to me on the phone and argued and argued with me about ordering the larger size. (No, cost difference, and I'm not sure why she cared what size I ordered.). Long story short when my dress came it was in the smaller size and of course did not fit. Fiancées said that I should just reorder the dress in the larger size, but that I would have to pay for another dress! I ended up finding an awesome seamstress to alter the dress enough to make it comfortable. Also, the cost of the dress was $50 more at Fiancées vs other. Bridal stores, but we all ordered from Fiancées so that the bride could get a discount on her dress. ALL of the tuxes that were picked up the day before the wedding were wrong, the ones that got their measurements at Fiancées included. They blamed the bride and tried to back out on their "It fits" guarantee. After lots of arguing, lots of nasty rude comments from the staff and incredible stress to the bride and her family they did alter the tuxes as best as they could but most still fit awkwardly the day of the ceremony. The store manager also wanted the guys to "Just pick it up on your way to the church" instead of right away in the morning after the alterations were done. Which would of course messed up the photographer and picture times. I have never had such a terrible experience at a store. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use them for your special day-it will be a nightmare. read more

I stopped into Fiancee bridal one Saturday without an appointment, not thinking I would need one since I was just looking at bridal veils and accessories. I was immediately turned off by the store, the cash register is right when you walk in and the entire store is cordoned off and you cannot go look at ANYTHING without an escort. This does not make the shop feel exclusive, it makes it feel like they fully expect you to shoplift and that you can't be trusted to wander around the store without damaging anything. I was informed by the person working that they did not have anyone to escort me to look at veils but I could wait until someone was free if I wanted to. The worker then told me that I should "Come back during the week" when it was less busy. There is a reason people go shopping on the weekend. I was so disgusted with this experience that I left and WILL NEVER go back. I will find my veil and bridesmaid dresses elsewhere. read more

After reading Amy's review I have to write mine also. The Fiancee store has a VIB program. They told us it meant very important bride. WRONG! Our first visit we were met at the door with smiling faces until they found out we did not have an appointment. Then they could not get us out of the store fast enough. Our second visit after paying $20 just to look at the dresses was a little better. The entire time we were there they just kept pushing the VIB thing. We were not allowed to take pictures which as a mom really upset me. After 2 hours our gal left us to help the next person and we were hustled down stairs to try on bridesmaid dresses in what looked like a storage room. Our third visit was by far the best so far. We had an appointment to try on bridesmaid dresses. After the girls all tried on and picked dresses we then had to decide colors. Because they were not all from the same we could not get the same color. So then the girls all had to be measured and then try on 1 more dress to ensure the correct size. We spent 2 hours doing all of this. We then went downstairs and had to wait to be rung up. After waiting while she rang up a bunch of young girls it was our turn. She looked over the paperwork and told the girls we would start at the top because she needed to remeasure and have them try on dresses. When we said we already did this upstairs she said she needed to double check the other girls measurments. So back to being measured and tryiing on more dresses. Finally we get done and leave. 4 hours later they call and tell us they over charged us for the brides gown. 5 days later we get a call saying 2 of the girls owe an additional $15. Really took you 5 days to figure this out. The dresses are suppose to be here in July which they had better be since the wedding is in August. The only good thing about this is we did not order tuxes yet and will not be using Fiancee. If nothing else we can save the guys the stress of dealing with these people. read more
