Customer service-As an example this purchase is going to be picked up by our movers and transported to our new house out of state. Eric complete understands this process and was ready to help and ensure everything worked out smoothly. Another example since we are trying to match colors. Eric said bring in a drawer or shelf from your old furniture so we can 100% match things. 2. Selection-If you like mission style furniture this is the place. Huge selection and huge number of stains. 3. Quality-It is unsurpassed. No ifs ands or buts. 4. Sustainable-They have their own tree farm and provide wood to the craftsmen. 5. Price-We looked at buying similar furniture where we were moving. The cost was 2.5 times more. Even with moving it was a no brainer. Whether you are in state or out of state this is the place to go. I cannot recommend them enough.

I really had no idea what this "simple" bathroom entailed and it was definitely bigger and more complicated than I originally thought. I started by picking out tiles and that was the fun part! What is your wood choice for cabinetry and what color stain would you like? Where do you want the faucet placed for the bathtub? I soon realized I needed HELP. I was way over my head. I found Imagine That through another friend/client and the time spent with Steve was so worth it. He was absolutely helpful and immediately understood the type of look I wanted to create. We first met up with Tom ( the company President and designer), He measured the area, sketched up some drawings and we all discussed what we thought would be fun, great looking and functional. A few days later, he emailed us blueprints and we met again with another designer, craftsmen. We changed our ideas a few times more before coming up with what we decided on. We scheduled a build and they were very good about keeping to their installation date. A well experienced carpenter showed up and within one day had it all installed. The next day the countertop crew came out to measure and laser scan for the corian countertop. A week later that was installed - perfectly.... We had the black subway tiles installed and had a family gathering to show off our "New Wine Bar". It was a huge hit, everyone loved it. What a improvement to our new home. I would totally recommend Charles Cabinets to anyone who wants perfection.

In June of 2022 we decided to remodel our kitchen and main living area in our townhome. We…read morecontacted three different companies/contractors. Our project was multi-faceted, with some unusual requests. Of course we had the normal "update the cabinets" piece (Re-door, paint) , but we also had a large solid maple built-in outdated entertainment wall that we wanted modified and painted, plus a two-tiered island we wanted made into one-tier.. We also wanted to add several cabinets to extend from the kitchen into the dining space along the wall. We received the three bids and Kitchen Tune-up of Eden Prairie was the one that most impressed us. Not only was their price very reasonable, but they were incredibly helpful and flexible. There wasn't any request we had that they couldn't fulfill. Angela and Annette (one of the owners) came for the initial consultation. They offered ideas, listened to ours, and made some preliminary measurements and gave us their tile and countertop suppliers' information. A few days later, they sent us their quote and it was very reasonable and included everything we wanted! A few days later, Angela and Annette came to do the measurements. While here, they offered some advice on our initial decisions and we updated our design. While here, they asked us why we chose them. Our response? Their flexibility, ability to accommodate our varied requests, the fact that the owner found us important enough to come, the energy they brought to the job, and their personalized attention to us. We felt from the first meeting that we were more than just another customer. Our remodel began on Labor Day, 2022! Over the next few weeks, Annette, Tim and their team worked tirelessly to transform our 1999 space into a beautiful, updated NEW SPACE! We LOVE IT! They put in long days and even weekends to do it all right. When faced with an unforeseen issue, they solved it and everything came out even better than we had hoped. My wife and I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed working with everyone from Kitchen Tune-Up - Eden Prairie! I have told friends and neighbors and can't wait to entertain in our new cool space. I highly recommend them if you are looking to update your kitchen or any other space!

Kristiaan is, hands down, the best contractor you will find in the Twin Cities. My husband was…read morecatastrophically injured in an accident and we were told we need to move somewhere that can accommodate his wheelchair and other disability needs. Very expensive. When we reached out to Kristiaan to ask if he could help us remodel our kitchen, he not only agreed to give us a quote without charge, he also came to our house and taped out the entire design on the floor, no charge. None of the other contractors were willing to put in that kind of time and effort without a guarantee that they would get the job. Kristiaan not only worked with the IKEA plans we had designed, but he further figured out the engineering required to support the large, open span that we had to have suspended over my husband's wheelchair. Everything you see in the photos is brand new and done by Kristiaan. What you don't see is that, on the other side where we already had IKEA cabinets, he moved the entire cabinet run over and built a stabilized support for our new kitchen sink. He also worked with the countertop installers to get us the cutouts that we needed, and recommended the best outlet/lighting system for us. And when IKEA dropped the ball and failed to deliver the promised toekicks, Kristiaan developed a workaround and personally went to IKEA to pick them up for us. A good friend of mine who is a luxury home builder in the Twin Cities said that Kristiaan basically fulfilled the idea of "aging in place" that is extremely popular now. Instead of moving to a "senior" type development, hire Kristiaan instead to make over your current home into your dream home. Disability, aging, or other circumstances don't necessarily mean you have to leave the home you love. Thank you, Kristiaan, for your impeccable work and your incredible decency.
