"If I die, bury me inside the Louis store" - 2 Chainz…read more This is the sole Louis Vuitton on the island of Sicily, located in the lovely tourist town of Palermo. Lots of cruise ships stop at Palermo's port, so it makes sense to have a high-end luxury leather store here. The store isn't huge, but it'll likely have all the LV swag you could need for the day. If they don't have, they can order it for you. Also, if you're not from Italy (you have a non-Italian passport), then you shop tax-free! The staff is very friendly. They have a monogramming machine in-store. I'll likely be back just because Palermo's a great city to visit.

Tiny and overpriced, the goods here are nothing special…read more As Sicily is somewhat part of Italy, I expected an excellent collection of vintage and gently used items. There really was nothing super special here, and the prices were high, all in all. The clothing section is almost nonexistent taking up not even a 2 m length of hanging space. It's mostly handbags, and some assorted sunglasses and other accessories. This is not a place that is worth going out of your way to visit. If you happen to be in the area sure, check it out. TL/dr: There are better clothes shops for your time.

While the alleyways are narrow, and mainly restricted from vehicle traffic, it is by no means quiet. Motorcycles continue to ride past, aling with dozens upon dozens of pedestrians, all stopping to see what you've ordered. The sign says PIZZA but they offer none. Was disappointed to learn that they were unable to make my first two choices from the menu. In the end, went with a safe bet.....spaghetti and tomato sauce. Food was tasty, and the host kept us all entertained. We were not hassled by pan-handlers and the prices were really quite good. House wine was quite tasty and also priced well. Lots of choices in the area, and my opinion is that this place is a little better than average for the vicinity.

The designs are elegantly simple, making for some very nice wearable jewelry that is less gaudy than most of the other shops we looked into. I was staying in an airbnb right next door and wandered in and was taken care of in a relaxed way. The wonderful thing is I believe this store is women owned, two generations (or more), and they were so happy that a guy from New York City was buying they literally jumped up and down when I told them where I was from. I think I was the first American to shop there since COVID hit Italy. GO.... SUPPORT... and enjoy the style.
