The clothes are good quality with out being overpriced. The shop itself is well spaced and neat without being anything special. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Last time I went there I was served by a lovely lady who was very pregnant and still smiling after standing on her feet all day; needless to say I was impressed by her stamina. Next time you are shopping in Harbourtown, don't be put off by the plain looking shop front, wander in and have a look around you will be glad you did.

The store is very neat and tidy, which makes it easy to find clothes you like. The prices are affordable as well, even though when you walk in you expect the prices to be far too expensive. I recently bought 2 dresses from Catalog for under $50 and the quality is great. The only downfall in my opinion is the sizes. I've noticed they tend to have a lot of 6s, 8s and 10s but lack in the 12s and 14s. The clothes are also quite a small make to begin with. Either way, it's worth checking out.

Looking around at the price tags shorts and skirts were around $40-$60 (not too bad), and dresses were around $100. The clothing sold here is for young women who like bright, dressy-casual pieces. If you are looking for a warm welcome and some assistance, you might struggle; the shop assistant looked at me twice and didn't smile or say hello. The shop window looks fairly nice and the overall of the store itself makes you think they sell cute but decent dresses, skirts and shirts. This is only partly true because a lot of the items are actually quite extravagant and very colourful. I didn't really find anything in there that stood out but saw a few nice dresses. Most clothes come in one size only and you'll find a lot of going-out dresses, not much that is very daytime-oriented or casual. Good for a browse though, and with most items ranging from $20-$100 it's reasonably priced.

To be honest it's easier to pick out what you'd like to try on and then get the staff to find the right size for you, otherwise you could end up with t-shirts falling all over the place.

I…read morewent into one store, passed an art gallery, and then walked into another store with the same teal blue Lula sign eerily similar to the one I was just in: it was like Groundhog day. Anyhoo Lula Tu is a bit of a mixed bag, with dresses that seemed designed for the more mature woman and some really nice stuff for the twenties. It's quite reasonably priced and I found some cool work skirts and a dreamy black dress I had to try on even though it was a bit over my budget. I was oohing and ahhing over this dress in the change rooms, when I looked up and noticed the store camera was directly over the change rooms, so I got dressed quick smart. I'm sure I was being paranoid and the camera wasn't actually recording me change... but still, why right over the change area? It creeped me out! Come on now Lula, you big perve!
