The funicular was waiting for us and we got into the top car, so we could watch the opposite car coming down at us! Once at the top, we grabbed a beverage at the Café Txakoli and walked back to the hillside adjoining the funicular depot for gorgeous views of Bilbao. Will be back! Pro tip: Use the Barik card. It's another set of stairs, escalator or lift down to the platform level. The machines did have an "English" button so I was able to buy my ticket without difficulty. As there is more than one zone, you will need to hang on to your ticket to exit the system. Indautxu is in Zone A of Bilbao's metro between San Mames and Moyua stations.
