This review is super late (from August 2012) - but better late than never! I just remembered as I stumbled across old photos. Wonderful gem! This hidden villa on the countryside of Randazzo was a true and authentic experience. No frills, no tourist traps hotel. The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms clean and updated. The owner let us tour the cantina where the family used to make wine. We were also allowed to sample fresh wine and produce growing from the land. The on-site restaurant was also great. They were just finishing the pool back then, I'm sure it's a beautiful escape from the heat by now. I highly recommend this place and stopping in Randazzo (near mount Etna). read more

What a beautiful place. Amazing views of Mt Etna and surrounding vineyards and mountains. Beautiful pool under construction. Room was very clean. Fabulous local antipasto and hearty breakfast. read more
