We had an excellent to visit To find out the gender of our baby! We were warmly welcomed and viewed our pictures on a large screen. My husband and son got to sit on a huge comfy couch and I laid on a comfortable bed (nothing like the doctors office!)! We will definitely be returning in later weeks to get shots of our little one when it's ready! Highly recommend! Edited to add: we are having our third! And we received a gift and to another area 3D imagining location. Long story short, that business blew off our appointment, and my emails and phone calls. I called Fetal Vision from that places doorstep and asked if they had any availability for that day, as my husband had taken the day off from work just so we could make that appointment. Fetal Vision squeezed us in with no issues! We didn't feel rushed or like we inconvenienced them. They were just as friendly as the first time around and we already made a follow up appointment for January to get better shots of our little girl! read more

If you want high quality HD ultrasound images - this is the place to go! They are very knowledgeable and accommodating. We went in November 2023 with our first pregnancy and came back today for our second pregnancy, due December 2024. We had a great experience and were given a large assortment of pictures and videos. We also purchased the heartbeat animal for ourselves and for our parents, such a sweet and special gift. Book your appointment today! read more

After our experience, I will admit I was quite surprised to see so many people gushing about their experience here. But looking at all the reviews , I can see that we were not alone. I'll start with the positive. Pro: Really incredible technology and high resolution pictures for excellent keepsakes Cons: The experience itself. The website goes at great lengths to discuss the "priority" of safety and precaution during these coronavirus times and that could not have been further from the truth. We expected a warm, relaxed, fun experience but not at all. My wife and her mom felt completely rushed, nervous, and uncomfortable the entire time. Our tech, though quite knowledgeable of the technology, was obnoxious about his "anti-mask" sentiment and was cold, irritable, and oozed being a know-it-all ("I know more than these stupid doctors and nurses" - type comments) We tried to enjoy the moment the best we could and laugh off his cocky attitude so we can get our pictures and leave. Regardless of your "stance" on wearing a mask, it's very off-putting to read all of THEIR precautions via website, email, and signage-- only to walk into the exam room with the tech without a mask and tell you "it's optional" and audibly huff when we said our preference was to be masked. You know, because of being a few inches away from my 7 month pregnant wife during a pandemic. All in all, if you just want great high def pictures of your little one before they make their entrance into the world, go for it. If your expecting a warm, relaxing, and happy experience or if you take coronavirus precautions seriously then just avoid it. read more

I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful our experience was here. The staff was kind and efficient. Our first scan didn't go very well, the baby wasn't cooperating and I hadn't drank enough water to help. They offered for me to come back for a free rescan which went much better! DRINK YOUR WATER!!! My husband and I went a couple months back when I was pregnant for an appt. It went really horrible with the owner. He was not wearing a mask when I entered and I did not see anyone clean the room between when the people prior walked out and when they put us in. He had a hard time getting a picture of the face as she was facing back. He was really rough but I understood he was trying to get a good picture. I reassured him multiple times that it's okay if we don't get a great picture, my husband just wanted to be able to see her move and be apart of an ultrasound. He got mad telling me I don't drink enough water and went on and on about conspiracy theories about hospitals forcing c sections. He had the worst bedside manner. From reading other reviews, it appears that when he can't get the picture he wants - he gets mad at the client. I would suggest going elsewhere. Also, there was a MAGA bear in our room, and he was wearing a blue line neck gaitor. So if you aren't interesting in supporting a business that supports those, this may not be the fit for you. Pros: The quality of the photos we did get were nice and the receptionist was beyond sweet! read more

I went for our gender scan with heartbeat animal and we found out we were having a girl! We opted for the standard ultrasound and got pretty good pictures for 16 weeks. We were impressed enough to purchase the Platinum package with HD upgrade. Just a note here, if you are looking to upgrade, it is 50 per session, not fifty for the package. We returned for our 25 week ultrasound and got fantastic pictures! At our 30 week pictures, we got ok pictures because little girl refused to move her arms and legs. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to get a sneak peek at baby. The only issues I had were I was hoping to be offered a mini session possibly to try to get better pictures, but I can see why it wasn't offered and the second fifty dollars for the session wasn't mentioned at my first Platinum visit, I she just wasn't expecting the extra expense and the I don't know that I would have opted for HD had I known it would have been extra since I knew she was getting bigger read more

This business enhanced one of the most beautiful experience in life, being a mother. The experience brought me to tears as I could see the likness my daughter had to her father and I. Each interaction I had with the staff always included specific directions such as to be well hydrated and I was also sent emails. They were patient in answering my questions. And accommodated my larger group of 13. They also have great gifts to buy such as stuffed animals with a recoding of your baby's heartbeat. The day of the ultrasound we got great photos and the tech was able to confirm we were having a baby girl :). They lay you in a comfortable bed with a paper liner for sanitary reasons. They have a couch and addition chairs for your guests which inxcluded my parents sister mother-in-law and a bunch of little ones. Though it was a small room it was a comfortable fit. They have a sonostream option ( i opted out) which is valuable if you have family out of state because they are able to view the sonogram live with you. My choice was easy due to the friendly staff and competitive prices. In comparison shopping I found the packages here gave you the most bang for your buck. I chose the package with a dvd recording of the ultrasound, digital photos, and prints. The drive was worth the overall great experience. read more

Unfortunately I have no had a great experience with Fetal Vision Imaging so far. I have called every day this week to try and get some information and book an appointment for their sneak peak gender DNA test. Every time I call, I'm promised a call back and that never happens. I was prepared to drive from NYC to come here for my ultrasounds and tests and also recommended my pregnant friend do the same . Everything seems very unorganized and no one seems to know what's going on. I get things happen sometimes but would appreciate a call back to just let me know . I don't feel very confident going forward with this company unfortunately and wouldn't recommend to anyone . read more

I found fetal vision imaging on Yelp when my other half and I were searching for an early gender reveal. We were just 16 weeks and after the warm reception I received when calling fetal vision, we decided to book our appointment to find out the gender of our newly created bun in the oven. We loved our experience (detailed below) so much that we made a second appointment to see our little one at 28 weeks and at the time of this review, we just finished up and we are more than impressed with our results. I would highly recommend this place and only wish we'd known about it when we were pregnant with our son. Make an appointment, pay for the HD, drink your water and thank me later! Ultrasound #1 - 16 weeks: We arrived for our appointment 10 min early as requested and were promptly greeted and taken back for our appointment. John completed our ultrasound, taking his time to carefully check and recheck to be sure the baby parts were clear and as we anxiously awaited the results, he patiently walked us through the technology and process, explaining every step along the way. We were thrilled when he said we were having a girl! John gave us a sneak peak of the HD technology and even though it's a little weird to see at this stage, it was light years ahead of any ultrasound we'd ever had. Of course I was skeptical (too many horror stories of girl false positives from friends) but.. John was on point and at our regular 20 week ultrasound, it was confirmed! Go, John!! Fast forward to the next ultrasound.... Ultrasound #2 - 30 weeks We arrived again about 10 min early with my parents, our 20 month old, and my mother in law watching from 2.5 hours away via sonostream (she got to see the while thing live from her iPad even though she couldn't make it!) John completed this ultrasound as well and our results were awe inspiring. The HD is worth every penny to pay and extra $50 for and the images that we left with are simply unbelievable! I cannot wait to post comparison pics when this little gal is born. We will be forever grateful for these images that we have thanks to Fetal Vision Imaging of our yet to be born beautiful little girl. read more

Do not come here! We had a horrible experience. The owner was rude and ignorant. The comments he was making were uncalled for and wrong. We ended up going to the ER a few hours later and the doctor confirmed that his comments were wrong and unqualified comments such as the baby being breached and irregular heart beat. Don't trust this place. Please read all the low-star comments they will reveal the truth about his place. I do not recommend this place. And I have told my doctor and they also are telling their patients to stay away from this place. read more

This place is amazing! I'm in love with my HD photos of my baby. Worth every penny! John and his staff are very friendly and professional. They have the best technology in the area. I came from an hour away just to experience this wonderful part of pregnancy. I couldn't be happier with my photos and DVD! Everyone is just gushing over this sneak peek of our new bundle of joy! They have a very comfortable waiting area and ultrasound room. Parking is great and easy to access. It's not a sketchy hole in the wall like some of the other ultrasound places in the Philadelphia area. Fetal Vision is very welcoming in a great location. Their hours are much better than some of their competitors too. When I wanted to squeeze in a last minute appointment, they had more availability that fit my schedule. So many people were telling me that they knew their baby's gender at only 16 weeks or so. So my jealously and Google led me to Fetal Vision Imaging. Soon as I googled 3d ultrasounds they were the first choice and also had excellent reviews. Then I dig a little deeper and find out they offer a Gender Sneak Peek special. I called right up and asked for all of the details. The receptionist was very helpful and explained everything to me. At the time I called I was only 13 weeks and she assured me that gender could be seen more clearer if I come in at 16 weeks. I was well pleased with her helpfulness and detailed explanation of the process. I was told that the ultrasound would be in 2D which did not matter to me because I only wanted the gender reveal and I knew I would come back when I was further along. Fast forward to 1/8/2015 was my appointment for my gender reveal. I was anxious to find out what the baby's gender was. John was very patient dealing with my stubborn baby who would not open his legs. He was very accurate and revealed I am expecting a baby Boy!!! I have already recommended Fetal Vision Imaging to my coworker and I will be back for the 3D ultrasound in a few weeks. They WERE AWESOME! This avid Yelper Loves this place! read more

I have been going to Fetal vision since they opened in 2005 when my oldest sister was pregnant with my first niece. I have since had 2 more nieces and a nephew and 3 of my own daughters. They are truly wonderful, John and Sherry are the most kind people. I've always gotten appointments so easily and felt at home when there. I have never once been disappointed at an appt. If John felt the baby wasn't in a good position for some great pictures, they would bring you back. I will never recommend another 3D/4D Ultrasound Office. This place is worth every penny! read more

We had a great experience at Fetal Vision Imaging today. We had a HD Ultrasound of our son at 30 weeks and it was an amazing experience. John was so patient with us and was able to even get the umbilical cord off our baby's face so we could get clear photos. The CD we watched over and over again when we got home. Everyone there was very nice. Also, please make sure you drink 100 oz of water for prep for your apt, as it really made a difference in our photo quality. I highly recommend Fetal Vision to anyone that is considering a 3D ultrasound and do recommend upgradeing to HD as the pictures are unbelievable. We can't wait for our baby to arrive to compare what he looks like with the ultrasound pictures! Jamie Chell read more

These five star reviews must be fake because the one stars are exactly what happened to me. I went in there and I already had a rough day and this guy made it worse. Number one he instantly blamed me for the pictures not coming right. Saying I was to far along and I should have read the website and drank more water. I didn't come there to get scolded, I came there to enjoy my time seeing my baby. He made me feel even worse then I did when I walked in. He was rude and condescending. Then they add high definition for an extra cost so I'm not sure what the amount I spent for even was because it was nothing special. He added "I have to pay for the machine" like sir no one asked you to pay for the machine and make this your job. No one cares how much u paid for it, that was just a rude comment. Then he's been saying he did it for 16 years, well I think it's time to retire because john or whatever his name was is ignorant to his customers. I advise any woman to not go there unless you want to be screamed at. Instead of saying "no worries we will do our best just relax and enjoy urself" he was a mean human being. Stay away from this place. read more

Tech was very rude. He kept telling me I will have problem with this baby even after it's born. Go somewhere else. Bad experience.

The owner is extremely unprofessional and miserable to be around. We went here today and had a terrible experience. Our baby wasn't in a great position to get any good pictures which was totally not the problem. As soon as we entered the building the owner was unhappy. I understand that he is probably very busy during this time since daddy's can't go to doctors appointments to see their unborn child. However, he does not have to treat his customers like second class citizens. He told me that it would be my job to tell him if he was hurting me while pushing on my stomach. I explained to him that he was indeed hurting me and he instantly got mad. He explained that if I didn't tell him he was hurting me maybe we could have seen the baby. I wasn't even mad we didn't get to see the baby's face! I was upset with the way he spoke to my husband and I. He also said he loves constructive criticism but when I said we weren't happy with how our visit was going due to his attitude he accused me of being racist to his deep voice. HA! Anybody that is so ignorant and rude should NOT be working with pregnant mothers. Also, this is not my first pregnancy so once we understood that we would not be able to see the baby's face we asked if we could see him moving (like you would in a normal ultrasound). And he explained that my baby was was indeed not moving at all. I know for a fact that if we would have just tried to look at the baby we could have seen a few punches and kicks. Even if we couldn't get him to turn his head there's no way he was "not moving at all." I am so incredibly disappointed and felt disrespected the entire time we were with this man. He also had the nerve to complain about the customers right before us in the ultrasound room while we were in there with him. It is obvious he does not value any of his customers. read more

Really nice and beautiful experience. I came here when I was pregnant with my first daughter and although she was being diffucult we got amazing ultrasounds of her. I wanted to have the same thing done when I got pregnant with my second daughter a year and a half later. I didn't wait long before it was my turn to be seen. The ultrasound tech John is great and very knowledgeable, he was very patient with us due to our baby being in the worst position, he gave me juice and showed me how to reposition the baby!! We searched and found this 3D ultrasound office online. Once we arrived and were brought into the room for the ultrasound, the baby was NOT in a good position for images and the technician John was very very patient and gave my wife Juice and waited for the baby to move around. They did not force us out and made sure we got the images we came for and were very polite and made us feel welcome. They also had a couch and multiple video screens to view the 3D video which was awesome, our 2 yr old loved it and played on the couch the whole time. I highly recommend this place. read more

Very unhappy with our experience. First of all, the website seems to be very strict regarding their Covid procedures ex: wearing masks, waiting in the car, limited people. None of the employees were wearing masks and there were multiple families in at one time. Secondly, we were taken back 20 min past our appointment time and were only in the ultrasound for about 15-20 min. The whole time the Ultrasound tech was extremely rude. My husband actually ended up taking our 3 year old out of the room because the tech was clearly annoyed with him being there and it was a very uncomfortable situation. The tech kept huffing and puffing about how my baby is breech, I have an anterior placenta and I didn't drink enough water. Said my baby was being difficult so he couldn't get many images. Our images are terrible no one offered for us to come back to try to get better imaging and no discounted price. Basically paid $200 to sit in the room alone, have terrible pictures and be constantly talked down to by the tech. Would not recommend at all. read more

Great experience to get to see our baby at 30 weeks. The pictures we received were fantastic. Fetal vision does such an amazing job, letting you see your baby so clear, seeing every feature and allowing you to be so comfortable! You can go to the bathroom before hand unlike other ultrasounds, and my husband and I were able to just sit back and watch our little one move around! We did one at 16weeks for our gender reveal and one at 28weeks and both times turned out so great! I LOVED both of my visits here!!! Highly recommended to anyone who is excited and can't wait to see their little one. The office staff is amazing and John the tech is super personable and makes it so comfortable. The scan room way more like a spa or a really nice living room than a medical facility. There are huge comfy couches for Dad, and a giant TV screen to see the baby on. Every time I go I leave feeling so excited. 3D is totally worth it and my pictures are amazing for only 17 weeks. Cant say enough great things. A gift card for a 3D scan would make such an awesome gift. read more

I found Fetal Imaging Center online and was confident we made the right choice prior to the appointment. I didn't even research other places. I feel our appointment was a little rushed. The tech really stuck to the 15 minutes. I paid extra for the HD ultrasound and then found coupons after the fact giving that way for free. I was really disappointed with the final color shot that was printed and probably won't frame it or show it off. I feel they were more concerned about referral business then asking me if I was happy with the service. On the way home I researched other places and found MUCH better packages and the other companies videos/photo technology appeared to be better. What I did like was the room atmosphere and the large screen to watch the ultrasound. Overall I am glad I did it but wish I did more research and chose a different place. read more

I had the most disheartening experience of my entire pregnancy at this location. Upon entering the ultrasound room the tech had an attitude. I asked if he had a bad day and he told me he had the last 20 clients with frontal placentas. I alerted him of my frontal placenta and he huffed and puffed and I explained I understood we would see what we could see, that its not his fault. During the whole ultrasound he was huffing and puffing and groaning instead of trying to be positive about my situation, because I absolutely did not blame him for our fuzzy images. I did tell him after being asked several times that I'd been drinking over my fill in water. I didn't know exactly the ml of water I'd been drinking but I knew I was drinking at least a full bottle of water every hour. He continued to accuse me of not drinking enough. Then he said to me, "well you know the baby's breech right? That certainly isn't helping. Ugh." He continued to again huff and puff and complain. He said it very abrupt and rudely. I wanted to cry... Hearing that is like a bad word in pregnancy. I held it together...wasn't he supposed to be sensitive and kind having worked with pregnant women as a job daily?! Wrong. He then told me he would try to move the baby and he did tell me to alert him if he shook my belly too hard trying to reposition her but I just didn't know how hard it took so I hung in there, its my first pregnancy. They next day I was so sore and I have finger print bruises from him jostling my belly... Not nearly like the professionals at my OBGYN do it. At the end of the visit he lectured me for 5 minutes AGAIN on drinking water as if it were my fault and let me tell you, I have been drinking over 300 a day (they tell you at least 100) now that I've been counting how I was drinking for 3 weeks leading up to the appointment. He told me cockily and rudely "Pff... Well... Ya know can't lead a horse to water. We always tell these women but its up to you." Before sending me out the door. I jept nodding and saying yes yes I get it. He then insisted on showing me his water drinking app. It was embarrassing and rude and assuming that I was lying to him... My baby's placenta was in front of her face and she was breech. He treated me like it was all my fault and like my baby and I were the biggest invonvenience of his day. Still, I thanked him for trying everything he could and kept holding it together. As soon as I left I bawled all the way home... Worst experience ever. I will NEVER reccommend them. Ever. Do. Not. Go. read more

We went for the Gender Sneak Peek yesterday. We had an overall good experience. I loved the Large TV display so our family could watch. The only reason I am giving less than five stars is that I was not aware that the ultrasound would not be 3D until I got there. When I was given the information about the Sneak Peak I was told we would receive two black and white photos, hear the heart beat and determine the gender. There was nothing on their website about it being 2D either. In fact , not one of their packages lists only 2D so that was a little bit disappointing. I feel that customers should be told this ahead of time and not when they are sitting in the room being offered an upgrade charge. read more

We chose Fetal Vison Imaging due to the close proximity to my wife's family and great pricing and went with the Gold 3D/4D Package with the optional HD upgrade if the conditions were right (i.e. placenta location and good amniotic fluid levels). We were 28 weeks at the time of our appointment and this was our 4th ultrasound. We had two with our doctor and one at 16 weeks for the gender reveal at another ultrasound imaging clinic located in D.C. Of the four, this was by far our worst experience. The clinic itself is nice and the ultrasound room has a large couch for family and a big LCD TV on the wall so that everyone can see. The equipment seemed to be top notch and you no doubt get some great images at a competitive price. My issue was not with the clinic or the equipment, but with the tech who I believe may also be the owner. His bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. He didn't make us feel comfortable and was very assertive in a negative way. I also felt like he man-handled my wife a bit too much trying to get the baby to move into a more ideal position for the best image. On a positive note, they offered a free follow-up appointment in hopes of getting a better image, but we decided to pass due to not having a great experience. read more

Yesterday we completed our 3D high definition ultrasound of our second son, Jake. Our first try my son was uncooperative and transverse position, but my experiences were amazing and John was the nicest, funniest, most personable guy you could ever talk to, as was his wife Sherry. Our first appointment was scheduled for Saturday 5/16/15. Jake was sound asleep, transverse, curled up knees to face which was also causing the chord to lay over his mouth. Eventually as the chord moved out of the way, Jake turned his head toward my back, making any photos virtually impossible. John patiently tried every trick in the book to get Jake to look at the camera. He extended my session well beyond the 15-20minutes paid for, gave me juice, had me take a walk, bring my knees up to my chest. Nothing at all worked. People have to understand sometimes these things happen. John scheduled me for a re-do yesterday (Thursday 5/21/15) and this time Jake's knees were down but he was still transverse, which is the hardest position to obtain great ultrasounds. Luckily, Jake was responding to John's belly taps this time, and with a little patience and pain on John's wrist, he was able to capture incredible shots of Jake, especially considering the position he's in. Not only did John give me an incredible experience but he was very funny and personable; the kind of guy you'd like to have a few drinks with and laugh (not being pregnant of course LOL). His wife, Sherry, was also just as kind. She even printed up a few tips and exercises for me to try at home in order to flip Jake into the correct head down position. Then she proceeded to offer me to come back, when and if Jake flips, and John would add head down shots to the CD-Rom I purchased, free of charge. That is how you run a business and have happy customers. John and Sherry are top in their field and I have already started to give out my referral cards because I'd love for anyone I know to experience FVI. You can honestly tell they take great pride in their business and love their jobs. Thank you both so much for everything (especially John) and since this is my last baby, I won't be seeing you again (unless Jake turns head down of course)but I will make sure I send other people your way to experience the joy you gave to us. read more

I got an ultrasound here in July, and it was truly one of the best experiences I've had during my pregnancy. The images were unbelievably clear, even though my baby was presenting as breech and this is not the ideal situation when getting this ultrasound. The staff was great and patient, continually rooting the baby on to move so we could see his/her little angel face! Being able to see my baby as a "real" little person was awesome, and in a sense made me feel even closer to him/her than I already did. And yes, they can keep the gender a secret if you want to be surprised like we do. We can't wait until the baby's birth in mid-September so we can compare the actual pictures to those from the ultrasound. Also, the large room allowed my husband and I to bring our whole family, and in addition to the amazing pictures, it was such a great bonding experience for all of us. Highly recommend!!!!! read more
