I specifically remember with my case, initially feeling so hopeless and Mrs. Scott successfully had my entire case DISMISSED. She is the real deal. Period. I would personally recommend her to my own family members, which I consider to be the highest compliment that I can possibly give a lawyer. Beyond just her success as a lawyer, she's extremely courteous, respectful, and prompt with her responses. Her staff, Ms. Melissa Perry and Ms. Abby Navarro are all incredibly respectful and prompt with their replies as well. Mrs. Scott went well out of her way to not only provide me with the best course of advice to have this case dismissed, but also took out her valuable time to meet with me in person (on a Sunday) just so that I could properly provide her with all of the details to my complex case. Mrs. Scott doesn't ever make you promises that she can't keep. Every single thing that she promised me, she upheld. Furthermore, Mrs. Scott was extremely respectful of my finances and worked with my budget to ensure that I wasn't financially stressed. The best part about Mrs. Annie Scott is that she understands the legal system better than any attorney that I've worked with. The local DA office and prosecutors respect her and KNOW that she is somebody that they can't mess with. She carries with her an aura of respect and professionality that her legal peers carefully respect. In summary, Mrs. Annie Scott is the consummate professional who will tailor fit your defense to your exact needs to ultimately ensure that you obtain your desired case result as quickly and as efficiently as possible. My experience with this lawyer was extremely disappointing and unprofessional from the very…read morebeginning. I chose him based on reviews that claimed he could handle difficult cases and genuinely cared about his clients, but that couldn't have been further from what I experienced. After driving 4 hours for the appointment, my sister, my 3-year-old son, and I waited about an hour before finally seeing him. The consultation itself lasted less than 20 minutes. He simply looked up my partner's A-number and repeated information I had already given him over the phone. Before I made that long trip, he had assured me he could help with this complicated case. Instead, he looked at us and said we didn't look wealthy enough and that I should save my money because we were going to need it. That moment was shocking and deeply hurtful. He never even asked what I did for a living or discussed a fee--he just judged us based on appearance. I own a successful commercial renovation business, but he never cared enough to ask. To make matters worse, he was eating crab rangoon during the meeting, getting crumbs on his shirt, answering phone calls, and sending emails while we were trying to talk about one of the hardest moments of our lives. It felt dismissive and disrespectful, as if our situation didn't matter at all. I met with another attorney afterward. He made no false promises, but he treated us with respect and said he would do everything he could to help. The difference in how we were treated was undeniable. Please don't respond by saying I never had an appointment. I have photos, call records, and proof of the appointment. I hope this review helps other families know what to expect.
