A small pub hidden away on Church Street in Mexborough. I believe it's one of the oldest in the town.
It has a group of regulars that are always in and sometimes that can make you feel a little uncomfortable. At weekends they stay open quite late and have a DJ and karaoke on.
The drinks are quite cheap and the staff are lovely. I love the fact that they sell cockles behind the bar and old-style sweets! It used to have a really good atmosphere but I think the weekend trade has died down a bit now - they tend to attract the older age groups. read more
