After I agreed to get the inserts, I realized that what they were giving me is something I could have gotten anywhere. It doesn't even look like my foot imprint is in the inserts. They are made in office in about 10 minutes and patients are expected, after paying $447.00, out of pocket, to go home and fit them into their shoes themselves I have had an orthopedic shoe inserts made in an other podiatrist office, and they were sent to a lab, with an impression of my foot, they came back, the exact imprint of my foot, these are very flimsy and I was totally shocked, it was definitely not at all what I expected. None of my insurances were submitted prior to even see if this "insert" was covered. I had to pay for something I didn't want or will not use.

Was told my bunions were very severe and involved 4 bones if the big toe not just the top bone. Told there is no such thing as one size fits all bunion surgery and that if i had no pain the doctor advised against it She also cited all of the things that could be permanently injured as a result of the surgery. She said the procedure by Dr Glass was just "a bandaid". I have since decided on an orthopedic surgeon at some time in the future. I then saw Dr. Coppola who wanted to surgically remove it. I received a second opinion from a podiatrist in another town. He froze the wart (cryotherapy) in the office the same day of my appointment, and told me to apply salicylic acid. In 5 days, it was gone and I was pain free!! I don't understand why these options weren't mentioned at any of my appointments with this office.
