Upon entering the shop there is an almost overwhelming assortment of chocolates and treats. Walls of chocolate bars of all different flavors and tables packed with chocolate and marzipan delights. Best known as a Chocolatier, but also a Confiserie with elegant Meringues, Cakes and Candies, it was taking items to a standing table inside the terminal that tasting commenced mere minutes after purchase, the crisp snap of sugar first yielding surprisingly subtle sweetness bolstering toasted Pistachios before the Cocoa-dusted version presented more predictably sugared but still texturally elegant. Looking next at Gmeiner's Linzer Torte, its premade nature predictably compromising Crust that seems to be made of Oats and ground Almonds, the better choice for Pastry comes as a polished Dark Chocolate Tart that is soft at its center while Chocolate Bars in an array of intensities seem well-crafted based on a single choice of 40% blended with Honey and thinly sliced Nuts.
