Been up and down this area of the coast from West Port all the way up to Cape Flattery, camping,…read morehouse rentals or what not, and have passed this little museum countless times. Well we finally decided to stop and visit and we were glad we did. It was one of those "why have we never done this before?" kinda moments. It's not big by any stretch, though we were told that they would be expanding in the near future. Will definitely come back once they have. There is no entrance fee, only a sign in book and request for a donation, but it's only a request...that you should definitely donate to. Anyways despite the size, there is much to explore and loads of history about the area that you might or might not have known. It's also a beach comber's haven, the collection of stuff found on the local beaches is super fascinating! The volunteer working there was very knowledgeable and she was able to answer any questions or provide information about anything that was on display or the history of the area. One of the more interesting things to me was the debris that washed up all the way from Japan during the tsunami over a decade ago. They also provide a little gift shop area to bring home any keep sakes or mementos of your visit. So the next time you are on the 109 between Moclips and Pacific Beach and you spot the Museum of the North Beach, stop in and look around. You might even learn something you did not know.

Admission is $5 ($10 for a family) which sort of appears steep when you drive up but we were really pleasantly surprised by how informative and entertaining the Center is. Kids (1,6,7) enjoyed the taxidermied animals, the kids area, and some of the educational exhibits. Adults liked the exhibits and just wandering around. We lasted here a little over an hour, and I thought the stop was well worth it on our cloudy and wet morning.

I was 16 when Nirvana made it big and wil always feel a connection with the band and the place they originated from for several reasons i can't get into now. This was the first year we were able to visit the museum since it opened a year ago. Last time I was there there was just a mural but now it was a full fleshed museum full of decent Kurt related artifacts and a great giftshop for grunge fans.(left with several books and tshirts based on vintage band tshirts Kurt wore). The artifacts were great but the experience wouldn't be half as amazing without the very insightfull tour guide. i have read 15 grunge books, 4 nirvana books, and it was stil full of inside knowledge I had never heard about. On top of that it was so amazing to hear the owners and people work there talk about their common pasion for everything grunge and Kurt Cobain. Talking to them really lifted to whole experience and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. Looking forward to going back next year to see what they added and do the tour of the Cobains resedence. When my business closes due to rising rent prices, I had to find storage fast, safe, and…read moreinexpensive. I called Aberdeen Ultimate Garage Plus to ask prices and availability. Ed was very professional on the phone and I was in luck. They had a 10x20x10 unit for $195 a month and a small deposit, which on the Harbour was a good price for the vicinity. So, December 15th, 2022 I packed everything up and moved my business into storage. It held everythin, plus. It has automatic lights, sheetrock, insulation, and outlets 4' up the three walls. There were cameras all over the front buildings so aed could see everyone's comings and goings. Ed did tell me there were a couple mechanics that had shops there. There were guys with their hobbies. And there were just those that needed storage. It is dog friendly as long as your dog is friendly. Bowser and Nitro are the sweetest pitties you'll every meet. And if they bring you their tire, they want you to play tug. In March 2024, we found it we were moving out of state. Ed had built 2 new buildings in the back. We enquired on the size and cost. I was ecstatic. We used the 14x22x12 unit to fill with boxes going cross country, and the little one for donations. Now I'm not saying we were always on time. Sometimes we were really late, but Ed was always professional and courteous whenever we spoke. We are now no longer renting from Ed, but I still check in on him and he still wishes us well. I know the West side of the yard has cars, equipment, building supplies, etc. This is indoor and outdoor rental. Ed is also planning on building more units and maybe some carport for the outdoor rental. So, if you don't mind some cars, etc parked out of the way, construction happening from time to time, or playing with the two most adorable pitties, then give Ed a call at Aberdeen Ultimate Garage Plus. He won't treat you wrong!!

We were very pleased with Suzanne at Bayview Mini Storage. We had agreed to help our daughter move…read moreher furniture and belongings from Yakima to Ocean Shores, but no storage units were available. Luckily, one became available at the last minute at Bayview. We had understood we had until 6 pm on the moving day to get to the storage unit our daughter had reserved in Hoquiam. Halfway through the drive our daughter texted we needed to be there by 5 pm, which was not going to happen due to heavy traffic on the freeway. We informed our daughter to contact Suzanne, who graciously agreed to stay and greet us at 5:30 even though she had other obligations at 6 pm. We were a few minutes past the 5:30 deadline and worried that Suzanne would leave before we got there. But again our daughter contacted Suzanne who confirmed she would still wait for us to show up, acknowledging that we had had a very long day. To our great relief, when we arrived she was very friendly, gracious and welcoming. She showed us where the unit was so we could start unloading the rented truck. When my wife went into the office to sign the rental contract, she found out our daughter did not have a lock for the storage unit. Suzanne quickly solved the problem by selling us a lock at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend Bayview Mini Storage for Suzanne's commitment to great customer service and because of how well we were treated. She never made us feel like she was inconvenienced because we ran behind. She was always professional and, we feel, went above and beyond to show how much she valued our business.
