In my poor German, I told him we were looking for something to eat and he invited us in. His daughter spoke great English and explained the menu to us and made wonderful recommendations on food to eat. She also explained some of the rules of a Brauhaus regarding the nonverbal signals for additional beers and when you are done. A drink coaster on top of your beer glass meant you were done.
We had the schnitzel and a generous portion of pork steak. The dinner came with a nice salad and potatoes. The service was prompt and friendly. This is one of the better German restaurants I've eaten in. Great atmosphere and good people.
