Everything about the experience was great…read more First, the building and the beer garden were perfect -- not touristy in the least, and sitting outside was just great. (There is a park behind the beer garden, so the overall vibe is super chill.) As for the food and drink, they exceeded our expectations. After having eaten out a lot over a two-week trip, the food here was much better than most of the places we visited in Germany. The pasta my daughter had was great -- lots of fresh veggies mixed in and it was her most memorable dish the entire two weeks. I had the white asparagus with a schnitzel and could not have been happier -- the asparagus and hollandaise sauce was outstanding, and the schnitzel one of the better I had all trip. As for the service, the folks who helped us were polite, funny and cool. I highly recommend this establishment. So glad we found it. Highly, highly recommended!!

The servers smile and are very nice. The food was great. We had suckling pig with a potato dumpling, bread with schmaltz and a soup. It was admittedly a heavy meal but that's what we were seeking in coming here. Would I come back here? Yes, in a heartbeat.
