Despite this being the first time Kevin met the young person, he gave excellent advice and counsel both on a professional and personal level. Kevin was forthcoming with information on what to expect throughout the process. He proactively addressed all family members concerns and discussed ways in which the defendant could minimize risk moving forward so that the whole situation could one day be looked back upon as a rough moment in time to be learned from. He spoke eloquently, from experience and in a way that put us all at ease by reviewing all possible scenarios with us and the young person in trouble. Kevin was extremely thorough and thoughtful. Most importantly, he was effective at keeping our beloved family member out of any additional trouble and for that I will remain forever grateful. I wholeheartedly recommend without any reservation Attorney Kevin R. Mullen to anyone in need of legal assistance.

Professionally and personally in my 63 years I have dealt with various lawyers for various things…read more Working with Chelsea Doogan when selling our home was hands down the most painful and anxiety provoking experience of them all. 1) Rude. (eg. Ask her a question and her answer many times is prefaced by "As I told you...."-whether she did or not). 2) Overly sensitive/defensive. (eg. Salient times during the negotiation she would take push back hard at any suggestion she was off base-not even hearing us out). 3)Not detail orientated; pretty big you think! (eg. Twice we caught non-disputed clerical errors; one by her and one by her 'raved about' assistant who was going to take great care of us. I could go on an on. It got so bad , directly and indirectly, by her participation in the process that at one point I called my realtor almost in tears ready to blow up the very great deal we had going because of her impact on the process. Thank God for my great realtor who kept things from ending. Chelsea knew fairly early on, through Alyssa, of my big discontent with her. Rather than try to repair things she wrote a defensive email making things worst. I kept wondering where Hornung and Scimone were in the process....whether they oversee the folks that work for them---hear how things are going..... The whole process felt like she was working more for the folks buying the house than for my wife and I. In our first meeting she raved about the other lawyer....how he had just made partner or was about to.... . She said she was telling me to reassure me we were dealing with a stand-up person, but for weeks after it felt , subjectively and the deal she ironed out, much more like she was hoping to impress him/not be in any conflict with him. Good luck with your endeavor. We were selling a home and renting from the buyers for a bit after they bought it while trying to buy a new home in Florida....and still working and packing up and saying good-bye to Franklin MA. The kind of once in a life-time stressful position you want a good team around you. Through the help of many, including things she did do right, we got it down-why I give 2 stars and not one. Best.

I needed legal representation for my divorce and found David through a Vesta webinar and was very…read morehappy I had. David guided me through a 4 year divorce process with professionalism and compassion which was much needed and appreciated. David continued to follow up with me checking on how I was doing and extended thoughtful and more than reasonable services which without, I wouldn't have survived. His entire staff and partner were a major part in my case process and I can't speak highly enough about the genuine commitment they made to aiding me through this difficult process. No emotion was too much or discarded, genuine understanding along with realistic and rational advice when you're not exactly in the most rational state of mind-I'm thankful I put my trust in David and his team. Why not 5 stars-well because I didn't walk away with some pay day-not that it was expected or that I hold it against David and his team; I try to be as helpful as possible in posting reviews. David got me a fair settlement. Though I didn't leave a wealthy woman, I did leave the court house with a hug, a much needed hug from Mr. Kellem and you can't pay for that. The care shown over these years was worth it.

I recently used Atty. Tye's services for my divorce case, and after all has been said and done, I…read moremust say I'm very glad to have had his representation. I won't pretend it was a painless ordeal, but I felt that Atty. Tye was able to confidently & accurately assess the situation from the outset, and maintain a consistently pragmatic, "take the high road" approach that finally ended up with a fair and well written settlement that effectively protected everyone's long-term interests. Donald did not allow us to get drawn into any petty/emotional point-scoring and did not indulge any unreasonable expectations from the opposing side either. Furthermore he appears extremely well known and respected within the family law community (which certainly did not hurt!) - and I'm sure that I benefited from all of his past experience as the case proceeded through some unexpected twists. I also found Prince Lobel to be a very well-run practice and modern style firm in general; communications are excellent (which is refreshing and surely reduced a lot of stress, as this can be a real issue with some attorneys), and there is a real depth of resources in Donald's immediate group - I received a lot of backup support (and occasional second opinions) from his colleagues at times. In short, Donald and his group turned out to be very effective "pilots" to get me through the divorce process and as a bonus it was also quite interesting to observe his method of work.

I informed Donald when I was moving. I was informed the divorce overall would take 6 months. When it came time to sell my home it got held up because my assets were frozen because I filed for the divorce. Donald said he was unaware this would happen. As a divorce attorney I would expect him to know these things. I cancelled the petition in order to sell my place and move as planned. At this point he said he could still complete the divorce. I moved from the state 2 months into this process. I ended up initiating a deal with my ex to try to move the divorce along faster. After being moved to a new state Donald informed he could no longer complete the divorce because I had moved. Even though he originally told me he still could. He said it was my fault because we stopped the petition so I could sell my home, because he told me I could still sell my home even though I was filing for divorce. He was going to help find another lawyer in my new state at no cost to me. He helped find a new lawyer and I received a bill from the new lawyer and from Donald. The bill from Donald was a huge surprise as he never told me my retainer had run out. When I asked him about the bill he said he had gone above and beyond to help my case and even gave me a discounted rate. It was one mistake after the next. He blamed it on me. I would expect him to know the rules better where he is a divorce lawyer. He doesn't seem competent in performing a more complex divorce.
