He's great helping you order something online, or helping you to find something in store. But should you have any issues with anything bought here beware. He ordered me a pair of sneakers that they had online, but not in store. He seemed great, and pleasant etc. Shortly after getting the sneaker, and finally opening the box to wear the sneaker, they didn't look anything close to the photo online. I decided it wasn't for me. At that time I read up and found the return policy to be 60 days. I went on about my usual business until I needed to go to the mall again, in which I called their customer service to verify since by that time I had misplaced the invoice/receipt, and brought the shoe in for return shortly after 30 days. He automatically said no. I said but I spoke to customer service this morning. He began lying that without the receipt there's no way he could even pull up the item or return it. I said so can you call customer service since they said it was possible. He said sure no problem. This dude! Picked up the phone and automatically started talking ( he had someone on hold!). He then walked off into the back of the store ( no longer visible) and walked back out, and said it's not possible I can't return it. I end up leaving the store calling customer service, who ends up sending him the invoice they pulling up with my phone number. He then claims its been over 30 days he doesn't know if he can take it back now etc. Customer service tells him to do it as a one time courtesy. Blah blah blah another 30 minutes later after babysitting him and thank goodness I kept them on the phone he completes my return! MORAL OF THE STORY: If you are not 100000% sure of the product you are purchasing, avoid this location, and this deceiving con artist of a manager. He will lie and avoid processing your return at all costs. I will never step foot in this champs store again.

They knew so much about the Adirondacks and local rivers, but even more, they also travel to Southern rivers. It's great to see a group that really bonds with each other. I was tired of groups where people just wanted to paddle and go home. Here, day trips always have a Happy Hour tailgate party where folks share snacks and stories. I've heard the camping trips are fantastic. I was afraid to sign up when my skills were new, but the instructional weekend keeps giving...people keep coaching and helping. Or, you can also be in a tandem canoe with an expert. That's how I broke into moving and whitewater adventures. Best sport I ever did...and I"ve done a lot...because this group is so professional and warm.
