The fence was installed in October 2024, and the final payment of $3,465.00 was made on November 6, 2024. During installation, the crew damaged a water pipe, which required immediate repair. My husband and I had to locate and hire an additional company to come out and fix the broken pipe. We paid for the repair out of pocket. As a result, Mae deducted $1,000.00 from the final payment, reducing it from $4,465.00 to $3,465.00. The business committed to providing quality services and products, backed by a lifetime warranty on the aluminum fence, a three-year installation warranty, and a one-year warranty on the gate, gate closures, and locking mechanisms. The nature of this dispute concerns issues related to the fence installation: 1a) Yard damage during the installation process. 1b) The gate closure is loose and unsecured. Regarding 1a, during the initial installation, the crew dug several large holes in both our yard and our neighbor's yard. These gaping holes remain unfilled, with no grass restoration, and present a physical hazard on both properties. Regarding 1b, the gate closure is loose, does not shut flush, and a nail has fallen out at the closure site. My husband and I have attempted to contact the company multiple times, but we have received little to no response.
