Now that we are ready for our second dog, there is no other breeder we trust more. Each puppy get individual attention, love, and care. Jane, the owner is always available to answer questions about the breed, about training, and feeding. Anything. She is a great resource for anyone new to taking care of dog, and can answer any questions you may have. Highly recommended labradoodle breeder.

This is a very dishonest business. We gave Jane Peck a deposit for a puppy in late 2018, and we…read morestill do not have a puppy. The first year was due to bad timing on our part, but we were REPEATEDLY assured that it would not be a problem; she would give us a puppy from a later litter. She told me over and over about how another client had delayed for 2 years! But when we were ready in late 2019, she wanted to give us a male puppy instead of the girl we had requested. She "didn't remember" our request for a girl pup. So we waited for the next litter...which "was delayed due to Covid." Finally she promised us a puppy in October 2020, but the mother dog had a medical emergency. Then she said that she couldn't give us puppies from the next 2 litters; they were "promised to kids as Christmas presents." So we were supposed to get a puppy in early 2021, but that mother dog never could get pregnant. So we were promised a girl pup from a May 2021 litter, but the week we were going to pick her up, Jane decided to keep the puppy for herself. She didn't even bother to email or write us her decision; we almost made a 1500 mile journey for nothing. Jane Peck promised us our deposit back on 3 occasions, in writing, but that was a lie. She never gave us our money back. Stay away from this business. Do NOT give her your money. She is a deceitful, unscrupulous business person.

To put it mildly, I have had some less than great experiences at the vet in my life. Every time I go to the vet, it causes me a lot of anxiety and stress because of my past experience. There's nothing as nerve-racking as second-guessing yourself on whether you need to go to a vet or you can take care of something on your own. My dog had a boo-boo, and I wasn't sure if what I did was enough or if he needed a vet appointment. He needed a vet appointment. Dr. Neimann was fabulous. She has great bedside manner, explained to me what she was seeing and thinking, and why she recommended the things that she did. They give you options of things to consider for care options, and then give you pricing before they do anything. I think the single biggest thing that stood out is that the antibiotic that he needed is really expensive if you buy it through the vet, however, it's available generically at most pharmacies. She thought about this in advance and made sure that the medication that I needed was something that I could get at a reasonable price. Her forethought to look at this before prescribing the dosage saved me something like $180. So not only did she do a great job taking care of my dog, but she gave me a lot of confidence in her abilities to take care of my pocketbook as well. Highly recommend her.

Warning - potential scam artists…read more We were looking to adopt a pet for our son. Have located this business in CO (we are from MI) while looking for a specific breed. They sent photos and videos of the puppy, said they deliver to other states all the time via air carriers, and were very responsive. My son asked all questions via email, agreed to all their terms, answered their questions, then they requested a $300 deposit to hold the puppy until the end of the week as we were traveling for the next few days, which he also immediately agreed to. All of this took a half an hour of back and forth emails which they were answering right away. Finally, in the last email in which he agreed to all of their payment requirements, he said that one of us would like to give them a brief call to make sure we understand the logistics of receiving the puppy from Delta (we have zero experience with this process). They immediately stopped replying to any emails, wouldn't reply to the texts or voicemails either. Somehow a simple request to talk to them before sending the payment stopped everything cold. To me this seems extremely fishy.

When we arrived, he wasn't there and we found out that he was recovering from surgery and wasn't immediately available for adoption. That minor glitch was the only negative part of our experience. They offered to let us fill out an application and call us when he was healthy enough to be adopted. In the meantime, our son started playing with another one of the cats and fell in love. After talking to the volunteers, we decided she would be a good fit for our family and decided to adopt her. She was already fixed and had all her shots, and 9 Lives provided all her medical records, plus instructions for helping her settle in quickly and introducing her to our existing cat. 9 Lives does require you to agree to not give the cat away, have it declawed, or let it go outside- all stipulations we could easily agree to. We were able to take her home the same day, and they held her for us while we picked up some extra supplies for her. The adoption fee included a coupon for a free bag of the food they'd been feeding her, plus several toys. They don't accept debit or credit cards, just cash or check, so plan ahead if you're set on a same day adoption.
