My favorite was the peach cobbler, stuffing was just sweet enough. I was not particularly a fan of the spinach turnover, felt like it was missing some salt. Will definitely be back to try their other baked goods.

There were multiple half cooked zataar, cheese, meat, veggie pizza/naan placed near the oven. They take your order and pop them in the oven for a minute to freshen them. Some speciality pizzas like chicken cheese take about 4/5 mins to cook. As I walked in there were 2 gentleman picking their big orders and I was next. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and attentive. After placing the order I told her I was visiting Windsor and she immediately asked me if I liked any of the small pies to take on the house-to which i politely refused but I thought that was so so sweet. I got a cheese pizza and one chicken cheese. Both were phenomenal. The meat one reminded me like the ones I are in Dubai...super flavorful and fresh almost have a little gamey taste to it(alert if you don't prefer). The chicken cheese took about 5 mins to prep. It was love at first bite delicious chicken with mouth watering cheese topped off with their house sauce-eating it can be messy they cut the pizza and fold it in half and place it in a bag-as seen in the pick-if I'm getting it next time I would like it not folded and instead open faced . I feel that would make it easier to eat at least for me. Both pizzas costed me $9. Lots of parking outside. No seating. They do sell pop.

For one, they don't construct the sandwich when you order instead they have it all packaged together beforehand. I arrived seeking something suitable to take back from Canada to the U.S., and found a small but…read morevery full shop with numerous intriguing baked goods. I was particularly happy with the option to get a box of miniature cupcakes, which are easy to share, easy to transport, and easy on the wallet. They were quite pleasant. For myself, an apple cinnamon scone was just fantastic in taste and texture, and a churro-flavored bar was gloriously indulgent. I couldn't see that this was the sort of bakery that caters to special dietary needs, and I was also surprised to find nothing maple flavored (what kind of Canadians are these?), but I could go elsewhere if I had such needs. For what they do, they executed quite well for me.

While visiting his family for Canadian Thanksgiving, we had a little bit of time before our flight, so he decided to show me this little legendary gem in Essex. His grandmother took his mother there when she was a kid and so the tradition passed on. To say I was impressed is an understatement. The exterior is vintage and quaint, taking you back to the old drive up/in burger and shake shacks, mixed with the feeling of being welcomed into someones home. A great feature of the layout is the fact that they accommodate to all seasons with their seating. There was an indoor and outdoor section for seating, (the "indoor" section was a sort of Sun Room that had clear paneling to keep heat in) They also had a very pretty garden out the back with lovely statues, and a large yard to host what I would assume is events, and doubles as a great place for kids to run around. It's great to think of all the memories each generation has enjoyed here! The best part is that when we got there, the service is incredible. They were open during the holiday, and had 3 very friendly people ready and happy to take our order. My boyfriend has a severe peanut allergy, and they were happy to accommodate him, granted they aren't 100% peanut allergy friendly, but still washed their hands and prepared his Boston Cooler (a kind of milkshake with vanilla ice cream and Vernor's Ginger Ale, delish!) with caution. I got the strawberry malt/milk shake, and anyone who knows me knows I'm an avid fan of Chik-fil-a's strawberry milkshake. THIS ONE RIVALS IT. It was made from fresh strawberries grown from that town, and tasted better than any pre-paid fast food junk. I'm pretty disappointed that I won't be able to come back for a bit, seeing as I'm on the other side of the continent. I definitely recommend it! We didn't purchase any food, but when we passed by the indoor seating on our way to the garden, we spotted a group chowing down on onion rings, and they looked divine. I also hear they have the best hamburgers in town, so I'm kind of sad I didn't try one. Thanks for a great experience! I hope to travel back to your neck of the woods soon!
