Not thrilled. My package has been "out for delivery" for three days and never been "attempted delivery.". I have to sign for the package so I've been stuck home (afraid to go to the bathroom) incase they arrive. I finally spoke to an individual in an overseas location and I'm having it delivered to my local Dollar Genera. I'm not optimistic that this will happen. read more

We have had no problems with FedEx deliveries. Rare that a pkg is delivered to anywhere but front (protected) porch. In fact, bless the delivery person who got the package here despite constant snow for 24-48 hours previous to the 5 AM delivery. Shoveled before bed, apparent delivery person still had to tread thru snow. Wish I had a way to tell delivery staff, motion lights will light your way to the door. You are awesome. I have at least four packages from three different locations stuck in this South Bend FedEx hell. Some of them haven't moved in four or five days, and everything that lands there never shows up. You can't talk to anyone at the facility, you get call centers outside the US if you want to speak with customer service. People who answer calls have zero information, cannot help and just tell you to be patient. This is unacceptable. I have two orders I've made in the last 10 days and paid for next day delivery, and neither of them have shown up yet because they are lost in South Bend. Absolutely deplorable service. The absolute worst customer service you can experience. Our packages are left outside. They have been stolen and ruined from the weather. Call phone numbers and it's another country. they kept telling me the package was out for delivery then when I said when will it arrive they changed to it was delivered yesterday at noon then they switched to it was delivered at 4, they are lying either the driver stole it or dumped it. I changed my schedule three days in a row waiting for Fed Ex to deliver as it kept emailing delayed. Yesterday and today their automated info said no one was home so could not leave package!!! I used to love FedEx. Even worked for them at one time. But this month and one location has made my point of view change. South Bend received my package on December 10. Same day I was suppose to get it. It's now December 24th and they still have my package. And after research this happens all the time at this location. FEDEX strikes again! Funny how they communicate frequently when all seems to be going well, BUT when as issue comes up they clam up. Placed an online order and they use FEDEX, stated order would be there in 2 days (723 miles) and they needed a signature. I stayed home waiting, always 'by end of day', until late afternoon, then email stating there was an issue and it would be delayed 2 more days. Next day (day 1) I received an automated call explaining I needed some one over 18 to sign for the package coming next day. Again, I stayed home to sign for the package, left lights on until 9:00 pm then went to bed. No further updates, emails or calls. Friday ( 3 additional days later) received an email stating it would be there that day by 'end of day'. No delivery, no communication of any kind. Saturday the update still showed by end of day on Friday! Nothing on Saturday and then late afternoon on Sunday, the package arrived finally. NINE days after ordered and store said it was expedited delivery, imagine if it was standard delivery. I tracked the package and it went from the East coast to the middle of the Country, then to Michigan, headed east to PA then back west to me, a total of 9 days and over 2100 miles, now that is where a good logistics company (like Amazon) could have cut the time and distance by over 60%, used less fossil fuel, fewer transfers and better customer service for their customers and their customer's customers. A lack of employees (standard excuse) was made even worse by a lack of logistical support causing 2 to 3 times more employees being involved, that just exacerbated the casual effect. Now add in the additional number of trucks, planes, forklifts using fossil fuels and the triple number of miles consuming said fuels and you know why we will keep endangering our climate. read more

I have waited 9 days on a shipment that started from Stevenspoint WI. It has been sitting in the South Bend IN center for 7 days, waiting to be brought to my house. That is not considered good service, and I have recommended to my Ordering company that another shipper be used in the future. I have not had any good reasons given for this delay, and have not received any texts or emails explaining why this shipment could not be delivered. I will be glad to remove this low star, if my next shipment is not also delayed. read more

FedEx claims that they lost my package... A pretty BIG box, mind you and they have nothing to say exept "my bad." No, my bad that I decided to let your company deliver my package. I ordered a pretty pricey marble coffee table that was delivered to the wrong address. I don't undstand why the driver can't go back to where he dropped it off and either get ask for it back, leave a note saying that they should deliver it to the proper address because it is a FEDERAL CRIME to open someone elses mail, OR give me the address that my package got shipped to so I can go get it myself. There are many different solution to this very avoidable situation. I am very frustrate and now out over 500$ bucks. THANKS FEDEX. read more

I have had 4 packages in the last 6 months where FedEx ground from South Bend has stated the package is on the delivery truck only NOT BE DELIVERED FOR 3-4 days later . One of the packages had to be signed for and I wasted 2 days waiting at home for It because they put in the computer that it was on the truck. Now it has happened again. I placed my order with Amazon on Thursday 11/4. FedEx tracking says it shipped from Princeton, Il going to South Bend, IN (3 hours away). It arrived in South Bend on Wednesday 11/10. On 11/11 it arrived BACK in Indianapolis, IN after already having been there on Friday 11/5. It finally arrived BACK in South Bend on Saturday 11/13. It is now Tuesday 11/16 and it still hasn't even been given a delivery date, it's just sitting there. This package should have been here in 1 day, 2 at the most, going ground. This is unacceptable!! Now I'm not only worrying about WHEN I will finally get my package but what condition will it be in after bouncing around for 2 weeks, is it going to be damage???? I tried calling and just get someone with a thick accent saying it's because there are so many packages. BULL! If that's the case why was it here then rerouted again?? My family business is waiting on quotes from FedEx for shipping our MANY packages every day to see if they would be a better deal than UPS but if this is how they handle packages we will NOT want to do business with them!! read more

A little hard to find. If you approach from LincolnWay East, you will have better luck. There are actual signs directing you to the FedEx Ship Center. The way I went first, I wound up at the South Bend Airport and it kept insisting I was at my destination in front of the South Shore train. I noodled around until I popped out onto LincolnWay and then everything improved. The people at FedEx were very pleasant, the service was fast and I was out of there in no time. Now that I know where I'm going, my next visit will be much smoother. read more
