The last 3 packages I've had that have gone through this facility, have been marked as 'Incorrect Address' and haven't been delivered on time, despite the fact that I do indeed have a correct address listed on said packages. I was supposed to have a very important package delivered today, and in order to make sure that it came on time, I called FedEx 2 days ago to ensure that my delivery instructions specified that my address is in fact correct, and yet, it was STILL not delivered today; marked instead as "Incorrect Address". Now I have to wait until after the weekend for my package, which is past the time when I needed it. Who knows if they'll even deliver it, or if it will be marked incorrectly again. I have never had an issue with fedex until I moved out to the country, every time a package gets shipped to me and I see fedex is delivering it I cringe! almost every time I am expecting a package I get an update saying that the package was refused by the receipt because they did not order it, which is not the case as I never get a knock on my door or talk to anyone from fedex when they supposedly attempted to deliver my package! now have to wait and hope they don't send my package back to the company, after contacting customer support they said they put in a ticket about it and just to wait for someone to contact me. read more

My job recently sent me a replacement computer I need for work. It's Friday. I'm given a window of before 8pm, but the tracker says it's likely to arrive between 1-4pm. Signature required, given the item, so I'm tied down. I work from the front room for the day, but stay there after to wait at my desk, about 8 feet from the front door. 6:27pm - "An attempt was made at a delivery, but no one was available for signature." 6:43 - I notice this update on the tracker, because I need this package. I didn't get knock at my front door. I have a husky. If someone knocked at my door, I'd know, even if I wasn't in the front room myself. I suspect, they stopped at my enclosed porch, disregarding the delivery instructions that I took the time to put for my packages. Who knows, maybe they just glanced at my house as they drove by to gas up the truck before heading home for the day. Anyways, at best I have to go pick it up myself, at worst I get to explain why I can't do my job Monday. read more

Worse experience with shipping over night. Pay top price to over night and twice took 3 days to arrive. However the item being shipped was live aquatic animals, so twice I was delivered dead animals. Customer service you going to be calling the Philippines so they can't contact anyone in Salina. Go to the Salina office, they can't contact drivers? That's ridiculous, and far fetched... if you have anything of value I wouldn't trust Fed Ex of any sort. You can pay for delivery, but who knows when it will be delivered. They did not care that there was live animals in their possession. Smh read more

Ordered a furnace part for a customer that was supposed to arrive in a timely manner as communicated by the shipping company and Fedex tracking. According to Fedex tracking the package made it to Salina, Ks. Fedex center where it was held hostage for 5 days. Three of those days tracking indicated that my customer's part was on a local truck out for delivery. They live in a rural area and were needing the part for their home furnace as sub zero temperatures were in the near forecast. The first two days they said it was out for delivery a message showed up on Fedex tracking at the end of the day that package was not delivered due to weather conditions. Not true. We had some snow on the ground but roads were clean. I tried contacting Fedex several different times about the situation but they do everything they can to route you through Fedex automated customer service that does nothing but tell you the same information you can see on the tracking. There was also a message that the package was not available to be picked up at the local Fedex center. I did finally get ahold of live Fedex customer service person who told me that the package had not reached the Salina, Ks Fedex center. According to their own tracking system the package had been sitting there for 2 days at that point. When the local Fedex truck finally did deliver the part/package they took a picture of it sitting on my customer's house porch along with 6 other packages from Fedex. My problem is this. Be honest with your customer. I understand Fedex trying to be as efficient as possible to control delivery costs and be competitive. It is obvious to me now that my package was held up at the local center waiting on other Fedex packages to be delivered. If I had know that then we would have sourced the part through a different vendor using a different freight company. This is not the first time this has happened to me with Fedex. Shame on me for not learning my lesson the first time. read more
