There is a room next to the main area where you can watch them mix the chocolate, pour it into molds, and make a whole bunch of happiness. They offer creams, caramels, chocolate covered espresso beans, chocolate covered orange peels, truffles, and almost any other piece of chocolate heaven that you can think of. There is also a small espresso bar that offers a perfect cup of coffee as well as cocoa. Everyone there was extremely friendly, which is typical of most people I've met in this city. This is a perfect spot to stop in and enjoy the happiness as you walk along the water. Can't wait to visit again!

La Gare de Montebello) where there's also tourist information, ChocoMotive has a great selection of artisanal gourmet chocolates! (Btw, they also have a Transfair Canada license signifying they use only certified fair trade organic sugar and cacao. ChocoMotive also doesn't use soy lecithin. There's a window to view their chocolate production facility too! ChocoMotive definitely is also riding the "Pistachio is the new Hazelnut" trend, with their own Dubai Chocolate with different types of chocolate. The staff was helpful in explaining some of the questions we had about the chocolate bars. Shop that focuses mainly on chocolate items…read more The place is nice and there is tables and seats available for you to sit down and enjoy your ice cream. My purpose for going was to stop by for ice cream. They serve soft ice cream and have an assortment of dips. I had the cafe creme dip, my wife chose the fleur de sel with dark chocolate, and my son had the s'more dip with mini marshmallow topping. Ice cream was ok but the dip was too thick. I felt like I was going into diabetic shock how sweet and thick the dip was. For the cafe creme, I wish there was more of a coffee flavor and less sweet. The chocolaty sweetness was way too overpowering. The cone that they use was the same no matter what size ice cream we chose. My son had the small and my wife and I had the medium. We all wish we'd chosen one size smaller because the dip made it so much more heavy. There is no way to eat it without having a mess. Not only was it sweet, you also had to eat it quickly to prevent it from melting all over your hands. Luckily they provide plenty of napkins that you can help yourself to and as well as wet wipes. We all ended up not finishing our ice cream because it was just too much. It was fun to try once but I don't think I will be back anytime soon.
