I think we are so lucky to have a library in Faversham. It's 'a nice warm, clean environment, with a good information wall at the entrance for community contacts. There is a good children's section in a separated room, with a good range of titles divided into age groups. There are several computers allowing internet access with an hour free attached to your ticket. The ticket also allows you to check on line, renew on line etc. With all the costly things that are out there I think Faversham Library gives value for money not just for books, but for Dvds and general information. My daughter loves it because children don't mind if the most up to date books aren't available. Three weeks book hire is generous and any fines that you have to pay are kept to a minimum. Well done Faversham Library. I hope this review helps others realise what a good virtually free resource it is, both educationally and socially. read more
