My boyfriend and I were able to do a little practice shoot with Shanna and Dale. We had a blast and the pictures turned out great!!! Shanna and Dale know of the best places to shoot and they are a pleasure to work with :) They had awesome ideas for poses and were also open to suggestions and input during the shoot. Fattykine. Personable, easy to work with, quality, turn- around time is great, they listen to your ideas and what you envision and make it happen. These are some of the things that pop up in my head when I think of Fattykine and their services. My husband and I have taken maternity pictures with Shanna and Dale, and I also took Mommy and Baby pictures. The quality of the pictures was just fabulous! Unsure of what to expect during the maternity shoot- they put as ease and we received great photos that were turned into canvas prints in our home. I have used fattykine for the last 3 years now annually to capture moments of me and my dog. The photography duo is able to create movement + depth within each picture all while having fun. As a person who is not a natural model (in a world of selfies!) fattykine helped me feel at ease with each session. By offering simple suggestions and a lot of patience they are able to pose both myself and my dog and capture great shots. They are also willing to try any "ideas" I have and offer great suggestions to help make each shoot personalized and special from overall concept to a special location and potential use of props. After the shoot I still wasn't convince that my awkward poses would make for any great images but after a super short wait I was given a sneak peak and I was shocked at how they came out!! Although I wouldn't submit them for any modeling agency the pictures were so awesome!! Totally exceeded my expectations! I was so thrilled when I booked my first photoshoot with Fattykine. I had heard great things about their creative eye and approach to taking photos and knew I could only come out with a great product. Fattykine make sure they scout out several locations for shoots so they can have a large variety of choice when it comes to the feel, mood, or personality trait that you want to bring out. We went to an eccentric spot in downtown LA and had so much fun taking pictures against the bustle of the city. While on shoot, both Dale and Shanna were extremely personable and fun to be with. I never felt awkward or unsure of what was going on. They made me feel confident in my posing and always directed me if I did not know what to do. They also got the final edited version of the photos from the shoot to me within a few days after the shoot. This is something I extremely value and they met that expectation! I am a wedding photographer and I have seen Fatty Kine Flipbooks at some of the weddings I have attended. Everyone is always having such a great time. I decided to hire them for my baby shower. This review is long overdue. I heard about them when I attended my friend's party. I was amazed by their flipbooks. It was so fun to move around with props as the camera filmed a 7 second video. I knew I had to book them for my baby shower. When I contacted Shanna and Dale a few months before the date of my baby shower, they responded quickly. They were also very kind and open minded to any suggestions. Last July 2016, they arrived on time to set up before the party began. The flipbook booth was such a hit for my guests! Their service was superb. They captured incredible moments of my family and friends during that special day. The flipbooks took only a couple of minutes to print. They even printed a copy for each guest that was in the flipbook. By the end of the month Shanna and Dale mailed me a cool wooden usb with their logo carved on it. The use contained all the flipbook videos from my party. Their package also came with some Hawaiian chocolates! You won't regret booking them for your next event! read more

The Fattykine photo booth was a hit at my twins' 1st Birthday party on September 3rd! Dale did a great job designing the layout/banner for the photo booth pictures. It went perfectly with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme. They also brought plenty Disney-themed props! All of our guests had a great time making memories in the photo booth! I would definitely hire them again and hope to try out their flip book service in the future. This was my second experience working with Dale and Shanna, as I booked Fattykine for a family photo session in December 2015. Even though my 3-month old daughter cried for half of the session and slept for the other half, Shanna and Dale captured beautiful family photos that I was able to use for our Christmas cards because Shanna got them to us well before the time promised. Fattykine got my then fiance and my attention at another wedding we attended last year. He doesn't typically like to take photos, but at that wedding, he told me he REALLY enjoyed the flipbook photobooth! Showed up early to the photo session. Recommended locations for a shoot for us that turned out great. And despite them needing to shoot our family which included a 1 year old who doesn't smile on cue or look at the camera, they gave us plenty of beautiful pictures. It's been a month and a half since we had them at my brother's wedding. I didn't want to write a review, but I still get angry thinking about how they treated my wife and son. My son has special needs and was using his imagination to pretend a light saber was a gardening tool. He was not hitting anyone with it nor was he running away from them with the toy. He was playing with it near their table of props and they aggressively grabbed it out of his hands and placed it on their table because they felt he was playing with it for too long. My wife saw the whole thing and ran up to them to confront them about why they did it. Instead of apologizing, they told my wife "Where were you??Where were you??" After about 5 minutes of arguing, one of them finally apologized to us. They need to understand that if they are going to work events, they need to have more patience with kids. read more

EVERYONE, including the "oldies," had so much fun creating their "7 seconds of fame" videos and receiving the cool flip book within minutes!!!
