FattyCakes Soap Company is a store that manufactures and sells its own soaps as well some other products such as perfume and facial masks. The owner is a licensed esthetician and massage therapist who knows how to develop healthy products. The products are made from natural ingredients such as castor oil, sunflower oil, and lard.
I have bought several of their bar soaps.
The Save Face Facial Bar is supposed to control oily skin and acne breakouts. I did not expect this soap to completely control my acne (I need prescription-strength products), but this soap did cleanse my skin well without over-drying.
The Juan the Swan soap was my favorite and had a wonderful scent of cherries. The Apple of my Eye soap smelled like cinnamon apple. The Seth soap was supposed to smell like berries and woods, but I thought that it smelled more like flowers--still good! The Happy Camper soap contained eucalyptus and other essential oils to repel mosquitoes and other insects.
All soaps were curved to fit the shape of the palm of my hand, and they had grooves for me to easily grip them. Their lather was not super-bubbly but was enough to thoroughly clean my skin. Each bar of soap cost several dollars.
FattyCakes sells many other scents for soaps, including unscented, peppermint, lavender, blackberry tea, blueberry, and Dirty Hippiee (patchouli, sandalwood, and nag champa). read more
