There are also the usual other departments you would expect in a department store - shoes, women's clothing, boys and girls, gifts and housewares. Paying for your purchase is always a bit of a challenge, especially in a country that doesn't really have a service industry. A few tills ('registers'), but always a queue ('line'). There are a few good bargains here and there, but a lot of it is crap. It's all up to you and your fashion sense.

The clothes are always gorgeous and this store carries a great range of accessories to match. I find their clothes are durable and excellent quality. Warehouse has to be one of my favourite high street women's clothing stores which offer excellent work and going out clothes. It is a smaller size store than many, but still has a decent variety of clothing. There is a Gap Baby and Kids right next door, so you can do all your shopping in one fell swoop. The staff members are friendly enough, although there often seem to be not enough of them. If you ask them questions about their clothing they generally know the answers - washing instructions, etc. They do tend to get quite a good selection of discount clothing about once every quarter - jeans at 9.99 and such.

I shop here mainly for my young son and I find it overpriced and the quality is not that much different from Next. For instance, whereas in Next you could buy a pair of good quality children's jeans for £7 you would not be able to do this at Gap. I bought some cord trousers for my son at Gap and they were pricey even at half price but they never quite fitted him properly. It seemed more of a design fault than anything else and I was not that impressed with the quality either. I only shop here when they have a sale on that way I feel I am getting more value for money.

Clothes are a good quality, sizing is often quite generous, so sometimes you may find you need the next size down. DP is not the cheapest clothes shop around, but it's not the most expensive either. I would say though with regards to quality you certainly get what you pay for and my clothes I have had from Dorothy Perkins have always lasted me a long time.
