Many games were glitchy, resulting in losing credits, and you don't get all the credits the games say you are getting. My daughter won a jackpot on a game that was supposed to be 5,155 points. They only gave her credit for 2,000. The other child with us only got credit for the 1,000 point ball and the rings she had, so only physical proof of points. There were no points on the actual card although she actually won over 1,500 points on the card. The poor teens working the counter were mortified when I expressed my irritation over the disparity. I felt bad for the kids since they had already started selecting their prizes based on what they actually won and now weren't able to get. read more

We went on a rainy day so it was packed which was understandable. Looks a lot bigger on the outside. 95% of the games there were ticket games and not arcade games. So if you're looking for an arcade, this is wrong place. Anyways, so you get game cards, but quite a few of the games were having card reading issues. We all know how claw machines work, but some of them they had the claw pressure turned so far down on some that you would have it perfect but it wouldn't even move the item. Some would pick the item up and would just fall out. They made the winning percentage literally zero which is a rip-off. There were a couple you could actually win, but really wasn't much. While in town, I decided to hit an arcade to kill some time. Ended up showing up about an hour before they closed. I ended up buying more credits than I could finish in an hour. Was this the most fantastic arcade center I have ever been to? Not at all. What I did love about tAhis place was that it was smaller and more intimate. It seemed like it is a family-run operation because even though they had closed, they allowed us to stay inside and finish our games. Also, what was really amazing is that they do not kill you on the price/credit of the games. By how it was priced, it was more geared to a family type of environment where the establishment wants to keep a family longer inside of there. First of all, a lot of the games were not working correctly. The games took ALOT of our tickets. Secondly, the staff were very rude and unprofessional. They had the attitude of "i don't want to be here." As we were collecting our tickets, someone from our party left to go get the last collectible card that we needed to get the bonus of 5,000 tickets and when we got up to the counter, the lady was like "we can't do that" in the rudest way possible. Hands down one of the worst arcades i've been to. If there was an option to do zero stars, I would do zero stars. Every claw machine is red, but these claw machines are ridiculously rigged. We stayed indoors Bc of the heat (there's putt putt and rides outside). My 4 yo and husband enjoyed the arcades. You do need cash dollar bills and you get a play card insert into the machines to play. Sanitizers everywhere. Masks required but not enforced. The tickets are not printed but applied directly onto the card which is very convenient. Staff are friendly. Not as much games as adventure Island but still fun. read more

I may never know how they ended up calling this place Fat Daddy's Arcade. It's a nice decent arcade to chill and have fun with your friends while on vacation. The place is large enough to accommodate the crowd, but I would suggest coming here on there slow day so you can manage to play without anyone hogging up the arcade games. They serve food and hosts birthday celebration for anyone that's looking to booked a special event. I was trying to win a bucket of 5 thousand tickets by playing the crane machine, but after 5 attempts, I was unsuccessful in attempt to retrieve the bucket. We won all the wizard of Oz cards. They would not honor them because we swiped out player card to soon. Even though we had all the cards as proof. So we lost out on 5,000 points. $40 worth of tokens gave us about 2 hours of play time. Yes, most of the games are 4 tokens each, but $20 gets you 100 tokens. There are a couple of older games in the back (Ms. Pac man, for example) that require just 2 tokens to play. We felt a little silly at first being 2 adults at an arcade with no children in tow. We were surprised to see there were others inside just like us. This place wasn't overrun with wild, screaming children. There were plenty of games available to play and no wait time. Biggest waste of money.. My family and I went here hoping for a good time; instead we left 10$ short with unhappy little kids. Mostly everything is 1 dollar and the iron claw machines are RIGGED. I saw over 10 people pick something up and as soon as it was up the claw open and dropped it. We were here on vacation and decided to take our kiddos here one night after dinner. It's an okay place to go but I've definitely been to better arcades. I do like that everything is electronic, like tokens on your gamecard as well as the tickets that are won. I didn't like that most-if not all- of the claw machines didn't close down like they should've or popped back open at the last second. The workers also seemed too ready to be done helping your child with their winnings. Ordered our points online ahead of time, A lot of games however a third of them where out of order which was a disappointment. Plus no snacks at all, its advertised on the main street facing billboard too. We did have a good time. Some of the employees seemed too busy with other stuff at times, so not sure customer service was the greatest. Great arcade! We took our kids, a boy age 9 & a girl age 7, and they had a blast. They have a large selection of games and we loved the newer stuff (Temple Run, a large touch screen Fruit Slice, Doodle Jump, etc.) We also had fun with the huge digital Connect 4. All in all a great time! read more
