You need a key to get into the women's restroom, but not the men's. Men can roam freely in and out of the bathroom, but women need to hold it until they get a key. Everytime we are in town, we keep coming back. We do love the fact that you can play unlimited games for, I think it was $50 for an hour play. Is it the most amazing facility, not at all. Pretty good selection of games, (no pink panther game though, so -1 star). The electricity kept going out on some of the games, but that's not as important. I ended up scoring around 1270 points among various games. I spent as many points as I could on mini tootsie rolls (as I always do at arcades) and should have gotten 127 tootsie rolls, (each costed 10), but I ended up getting ~170 tootsie rolls due to the employees, whom were completely justified in their actions, didn't want to hand count each one. This was a return visit for us. We really like this arcade. Loaded cards that are tap to pay. Your dollar goes pretty far here, though selection is smaller than most. But it has great games, nothing was broken, and everything was clean. I appreciate the chiller atmosphere and lower foot traffic. We look forward to coming back! read more

When are they open? Website says 10am-6pm. The sign on the door says 12pm-6pm. Went 2/20/24 at 12:30 and it was closed. Called and they promised they would be open 12-6 the next day so we showed up again at 12:30, and again they were closed. I guess they didn't want my money. ‍ read more

Stopped in with 4 kids on hot day. Place was clean and air conditioned and had good selection of ticket games. We got the $50 one hour unlimited play and had a great time. Would definitely recommend. read more

We played Bazooka Ball and had a blast. We did have to give our number to the attendant so he could call us when more people signed up. It is girls vs guys. Very exciting activity and reasonably priced in comparison to other things. read more

We frequent arcades with kids in the 6-9 age range. This arcade was great! Prices were completely reasonable if not less than the other arcade we went to locally. Most of all, the prize counter is the very best I've ever seen in any arcade. A good prize counter is what matters to the littles because that's what they leave with. Score! read more

Was disappointed when first came by and it was closed, even though the website stated it should be open. But it was a Tuesday and places have some trouble finding people. But later on it was open. Both the laser tag and bazooka ball activities were a blast and a good workout. The arcade games were not interesting enough to play. Me and two of my friends visited this arcade and spent 70$ on tickets. We played games for about 30 minutes and earned a lot of points. When we were done we went and checked the balance on all of out cards which added up to about 6000 points. We then went to claim our points and the man said that we only had 2100 points. We were very aggravated but did not want to cause a scene so we said nothing and got our stuff. I hope this does not happen to anyone else. We were just headed through Orange Beach and decided to stop by the Wharf and check it out. We saw this arcade while walking around the bottom floor and decided to go check it out. It is small in selection for the arcade but also has laser tag and some other things too. We just played in the arcade which was a lot of fun for us. We just spent 20 bucks and with a cup of tokens (it was nice to see tokens again, since most places use the cards now,) we started our gaming. We played almost every game in the place and didn't have an issue with a single one not working or taking our coins. Almost all the games were fairly priced and lower than your average Dave and busters. Though even if the price of the games were less I feel as the prizes cost were higher than usual which means you'd have to play way more games to earn the amount needed to get something. So we opted to giving our 1400 tickets to a young boy and his mom as he'd probably get more joy out of the prizes than us. Our prize was finding an arcade and feeling like a kid again holding tokens and actual tickets coming out of the machines as you won. read more

I rated it a 3 because I thought the games were over priced. Some games cost $1 to play. The only thing I would recommend is laser tag and bazooka ball. The games are all new and nicely kept. A few were out of order completely. The mission impossible game is a part of the combo package, but it's not worth it. The venue is very small. You could spend an hour here. A place like Dave & Busters puts this place to shame. read more

Best lazertag experience. The guns don't shut down when you get hit. Small children can play. Bazooka ball was just as fun. Definitely would recommend this place to any family. We will definitely be back. read more

So I left The Arena at the Wharf (August 2014) because we spent well over $100, earned 600 tickets and a man took over the shift for the nice girl working, claiming to be the "manager." He was on his phone for a full 15 minutes standing at the register while no other patrons were present. He then approached me while I was still deciding what to get, and said I "needed to use my points!" Applying pressure to the situation. I received a text from a coworker who's car broke down and she wouldn't get paid if I didn't help her get our paperwork to the client by the next 30 mins. There were still no customers at the counter or register but the man continued to stare down at me, even as a family of four walked in to play a game in the front. He then told me "you know it's rude!" So I asked him what he meant and explained my situation. I then found out he was the "manager" and he claimed that I had to finish or be removed from the arcade because they don't let people just "hang around." As long as I'm still spending money, not holding up a line, and not preventing him from using HIS iPhone in front of ME, I don't see I problem. I informed him I would take the pack of trading cards (230 tickets, or should I say "points"!) and that I would leave, let him keep his 270 remainder and not return to spend any more business here in the future. I look forward to visiting the Arena every single time I visit AL, and this is the worst customer service experience I have ever witnessed at any arcade, or even business in my LIFE. I hope for the sake of the owners, they re-evaluate the friendliness of this particular staff member. I love all the girls who work here, and Dajon. I am so hurt and offended by the way I was spoken to and threatened that I genuinely am thinking about telling all of my friends who vacation here not to go if they see him working. I love this place sooo much and I would hate to see the atmosphere and business suffer because of one jerk. He had JUST gotten there so I can't even blame it on him being tired from a long shift.
