The University of Manchester is currently hosting every Tuesday until June the Levenshulme Market on campus, and Fat Annie's is there for people's enjoyment, and I would wholeheartedly recommend people try their chorizo Bratwurst. I am not sure how often Fat Annie's will be there as they have a rota system in place, but I believe you can also find Fat Annie's on Thomas Street, Northern Quarter on Thursdays and Fridays between 12 & 3pm (source fatannies.co.uk "Where to Find Us"). Also during matchdays at FC United, and many other street food/food market events. See there Twitter (@fatannies) for new venues & events.
I am a big fan of Bratwurst, and I visit Germany often, so I know how the real deal should taste. I was not disappointed with Fat Annie's. I chose the "El Toro" pork chorizo, topped with mustard and sriracha; the sriracha was recommended to me, and I will pay it forward. Try it! The Wurst had the perfect amount of spiciness and very flavourful. You can taste the freshness and quality in the pork And SO BIG. I look forward to going back, and every person I have mention it to, shares their love for Fat Annie's. It is truly is a hidden gem. read more
