I knew he was truthful because I had just had the oil changed about 2 weeks ago before we began our journey from Ohio to St. John, NB, Canada. This service station is easy to drive to with easy on and off of the New York Through Way at the Utica North/Downtown exit. I give this Sunoco 2 stars because although it's clean, efficient, 24 hours, well-lit, with decent service when needed, it's also significantly higher in terms of price than any of the gas stations that are not on the Thruway. It varies but you can end up paying a lot more. It's too inconvenient to get off the Thruway and pay an extra toll, so that's how they get you. I've filled up at this one a couple of times, usually just out of convenience. I tend not to fill up completely at these because of the price, but just pop 10 dollars or so in. If I wasn't welcome back there, I guess it'd be renamed Shunoco.
