I recently had a change in employment and no longer have health insurance. I ran out of my blood pressure meds and called to have them send a refill to my pharmacist. Because I can't afford to pay their no insurance office fee at this time they are refusing to send the refill!!! The nurse flat out said she wasn't going to send the refill til I came and saw them. I tried explaining to her that I no longer had health insurance and was not feesable for me at this time and if there was an exception that could be made at this time since I need this medicine to live!!! The nurse flat out told me no. So they are denying me a medicine I need to live because I can not afford to pay their office fee!!! What kind of crap is it that a doctors office is denying me a medicine I need to live because I can't afford the price they charge non insurance!!!! It has only become more obvious that the state should shut this place down, or at the very least fire the office staff. Nevermind the fact that I already had a Squamous Cell Carcinoma removed surgically from my arm about a week ago, all I have heard from these amateurs is a robo call about upcoming appointments. About 3 days ago, I called them to tell the office staff that I would NEVER return to such a half-assed clinic again, and for them to NEVER contact me again. That should have been the end of it, right? NO. About 15 minutes ago, here comes another robo call about my upcoming appt. Prior to this, I called the corporate office to file a complaint with the "Compliance Officer" of this outfit, naturally, she wasn't there so I left a message with my phone number. Never heard back from them. Keep in mind, that while these "professional medical staff" employees were sitting on their thumbs, I had to go to another clinic entirely to get refered to a surgeon to have a Malignant Carcinoma removed surgically before it had the chance to spread. If I had not taken the lead on getting the ball rolling on the surgery, I would still be growing this cancer waiting for this inept clinic to pull it's head out of wherever they keep their head stored. You can go there is you wish, I don't advise it. And I plan on filing a formal complaint with the MS State Health Dept about his clinic.
