Look, I'm not necessarily going to consider it to be authentic, but the thing is that they do actually serve up a pretty good curry, and the price isn't all that bad as well. Oh, and another thing, the service turned out to be pretty awesome as wlel. Not a bad place to get a thai fix.

So we used Yelp to find 'nearby' cafes, as we were starving ... and came upon The Whistling Cat - great name, which is a good start! This place is MASSIVE!! It is decorated like an antique store, and has the potential to be fantastic. The menu is pretty basic, mainly paninis and doorstops - I had a chicken panini, which was served with a lot of salad - good value, but not exactly a taste sensation. While not completely blown away, our lunch was nice ... standard cafe fare. Would be greatly improved by playing some jazz music in the background instead of a generic mainstream radio station - while this place has potential, it kinda misses the mark.

Malaysian delicacies is more of a take-away or fast-food place than a proper restaurant. Even though it has a small seating area inside, you will see more people picking up their food than having it their. Why? Well, first of all it's probably not the most beautiful place but well worth an experience. You get insight into their kitchen, people chopping veggies just next to the counter and the feeling of walking through someone's house when going to the bathrooms. Apart from all the chaos surrounding the actual restaurant, the food is great. I had their tuna and salmon sushi rolls ($9 with a drink) and they were beautiful. They have an incredible selection of sushi, ranging from the most basic maki to highly creative rolls. I think it actually took me longer to figure out what I wanted to eat than the actual time I spend on eating it later. But wait, there's more. Noodles, stir-fry's, beef, chicken, soups, dim sum.. everything you could possibly want from an Asian/Malaysian place or sushi bar. I'd definitely recommend this place.
