There are always staff to ask questions and spares such as headlights or rear lights tend to cost pence. They also sell a large range of car cleaning materials, oils and 'performance enhancers' such as drilled pedals, exhaust mufflers I bought a car radio from there - the guy serving me was quite young but knew what he was talking about. Also bought a tandem bike (they do some bikes) and took back for free service.

Appointment of 7:00 PM. When I went there with a colleague of mine, there was a gentlemen who was very well behaved on the desk. I told him the order number and he told us after going through some files that they don't have the battery as there is ''stop'' and ''start'' mechanism in the car which would need another kind of battery with possible computer programming. Then he called some body else, with an attitude. When my colleague asked him, he mentioned that they can't help and we need to come tomorrow and even tomorrow it is not sure. I told him that it is not my fault. He became immediately defensive and told that it was not his fault either. This gentleman should learn how to behave first of all and then how to deal with a customer. His attitude has left lot to be desired and is a bad mark on the name of Halford, as previously I had good experience with Halford. Who ever is in Halford as an employee is representing Halford. I usually get my MOT/Service with Halford and employees are professional and nice except for this incidence. Halford must ask his employees to be more professional. Back to the battery.... still stand nowhere with the battery fitting. Now they have asked me to come back tomorrow with no guarantees.

I can only join the previous reviewer in saying that it can be extremely hard to find any staff in…read morethis store. The ones you do find (behind the till normally) are not usually that helpful. Otherwise it is a big store with lots of choice. The bicycle department especially is well stocked and (when you can get hold of the bicycle bloke) the staff at that end are really knowledgable and friendly. Prices are a bit steep for car spares and cleaning materials.

I al very glad that I have found a company that wouldnt recommend anything unless they have tried and tested it for themselves. Their prices are very reasonable for the services they offer. They specialise in japanese cars and are second to none for the knowledge held by all who work there. They well deserve 5 stars and many more! If they don't stock it, they will source it. What they don't know,isn't worth knowing!
