I just wanted to say that Dr. Turay is truly wonderful. She is always professional, caring, and…read moreattentive, and she takes the time to really listen to her patients. I sincerely appreciate the excellent care and kindness she provides. Please pass along my gratitude to her and the staff.

If you have health concerns, please find a legitimate healthcare provider, definitely not these…read moreguys. If you are healthy, you may go there for a National Geographic documentary about water buffaloes. This office is laughable. The doctors are subpar, but I am not even going to write about that anymore. We do not expect great service here, but then you should not be charging the same as other doctors who actually provide good medical care. You are not even close. Why are you charging the same amount for this kind of substandard, below-average, inferior healthcare service? Now, this review is about the front desk. Others have written plenty about the doctors. It seems they forgot to write about the front desk, so this review aims to fill that gap. You have got to love the front desk. If you replaced them with a couple of fast-moving snow monkeys, the patients would probably be happier. The monkeys would not be able to solve any problems either, so at least there would be no loss of service, and there would be some entertainment while you guys make us wait 45 minutes or so. To be fair to the snow monkeys, unlike you guys at the front desk, after a few weeks of training, they might actually start solving some of the problems. My lil' friends, I am not sure if you are doing this as charity work, but I assume they actually pay you a salary. We are not asking for miracles here. Nobody expects you to perform surgery at the front desk. Answer the phone, pay attention to the patient, and occasionally solve a basic administrative problem. We can start there. If avoiding work and being incompetent were Olympic events, I am fairly confident this front desk would bring home a medal.

I have been coming to Family Healthcare for almost a decade I think. I was very surprised by the…read morelow rating so decided to leave a review of my experience. Throughout the years, I agree with a few of the reviewers in that administratively, Family Healthcare has gone down. Previously, I did not feel as rushed and interactions seemed more personable. I can only assume that maybe they have more patients now and may need better front desk hospitality. I kind of feel many doctors offices in the area are becoming this way. There is a general feeling of over busyness leading to administrative inattentiveness and longer wait times. I also think this happens at offices where providers are highly sought. So why the 5-star rating? My rating is based on the individual provider. I would rate Dr. Rita Sharma a solid 5 stars. I wish she still saw patients at the Olney office which I feel was more organized. She is always willing to pass on the knowledge she has and is personable. She is also very familiar with other specialist in the area and can direct to you one who has the experience needed for any medical issue you have.

Love the physicians here. The front staff will you check in very rude. A class. This place left me with a very poor impression after half a year as my primary care office. Their…read morefront desk staff routinely botch communications with the physicians (I can't count the number of times they tried to bill my visit as a physical), the doctor visits themselves are perfunctory, and the doctors seem to be incapable of reading medical history or asking enough questions to accurately recommend treatment. Add to that, the staff seems to have very little interest in actually providing treatment. I've had two terrible experiences. In one, I was seeking treatment for severe back pain that left me barely able to walk and completely unable to sit up. The staff providing no accommodations of any kind - no wheelchair, no gurney, no offer of physical assistance, and they definitely got paid up front. The doctor saw me for a whole five minutes, prescribed meds, and scheduled a follow-up and tests. No examination was conducted, and no pain medications were prescribed, which left me virtually unable to move for three weeks. I was left with the distinct impression that they viewed me as a walking money bag, not a person in need of assistance. The second bad experience was following a month of PT for that same back issue. Upon relating the failure of that PT to restore strength in my muscles to my doctor, which is indicative of nerve problems, his reaction was: "Huh... better come back in a month for a follow-up, maybe it will have resolved itself." No intention to refer to a specialist. No diagnosis of a problem (despite his having access to a recent MRI). Just... come back in a month and pay me, maybe it'll be gone. Dude, I pay you to fix me, not to tell me to wait it out and hope my muscles don't atrophy beyond the point of repair. The only good part of this office is that they have labs, urgent care, GP office, and PT office all in the same place. It's convenient that way. But yeah, they're just out for your money, go somewhere else if you can.

This practice now prioritizes Covid testing (financial incentives) over typical PCP services. They…read moreare not a reliable medical care provider. I have been a patient with this group 20+ years. They will make video appointments only and they regularly skip and do not initiate appointments. This seems like a failure of management and lack professionalism. The last 2 months just to get 2 refills I've needed to schedule over 12 appointments. 10 of them were skipped with no notice and no followup by the medical provider. It seems to me like this practice is only interested in testing for Covid (perhaps there is a financial incentive to prioritize) while neglecting multi generational families of patients that have come to rely on their practice. I'm extremely disappointed with their medical care. Because of the failure to keep and hold appointments you must go to the office in person, which will put you and your family at risk of catching covid but unfortunately, you will not be treated well by this practice when you attempt to get stuff done by phone.
