They have a handful of cardio machines, some weight lifting machines and a rather small free weight area. The locker room is tiny, but then this gym isn't as crowded as inner city gyms are either. The equipment is in good condition and he place feels tidy and welcoming. Not as nice as the places in the central parts of Stockholm but a good "local branch". What's nice is that it has more windows than most gyms so the sunshine really comes in. I like that.

In my quest for the best price/quality ratio I found this medium-sized gym close to home. It is…read morerather cheap compared to other gym franchises and it is fully equipped; it even has a tanning room. When I say fully equipped I mean it counts with machines to work most, if not all, body parts effectively. Although it used to open 24/7, I believe their current opening hours are more than adequate to fit [almost] any schedule. I like to go in the morning because it is the time of the day when there is less people and you can use all the equipment without rush; having said that, it is during the afternoon (16h to 19h) when it seems to be the busiest. Overall, the place is relatively new, steps away from the tunnelbana entrance, fairly priced and equipped. If you live between Norsborg and Mälarhöjden (I would even venture to say Liljeholmen if I stretch it a bit) this is definitively an option you should consider.

This is not a Plus facility so there is no room for classes. F24S can maintain low member fees partly because they don't utilize a lot of staff - so if you are a non-member who wants to just drop in, you have a limited set of hours during the day to do so (when the reception desk is actually manned.) Becoming a member takes a few business days, but once you have it you have free access 24/7 to ALL of their gym facilities and all the classes in their Plus facilities - boxercise, body pump, etc! (The nearest Plus facilities are at Hötorget and Regeringsgatan.) It's an all-you-can-eat buffet of fitness! There's even a women only section which I, for obvious reasons, can't review - but I can say that I find it a little bit discriminating that men pay the same membership fee to use less of the facility and its machines. The real bad thing about F24S is that when a weight lock goes missing, it's gonna take weeks for them to produce a new one - and without staff present, many members don't bother to respect the equipment or people around them.
