Didn't want to see my dog that has been throwing up for two days because it was close to closing time.

I have a difficult boy because he wasn't treated very well the first half of his life so he doesn't really like veterinarians. They have always been very good in working with him and understanding his issues. All of the above things I would actually expect from a vets office but this past week when my pup was really sick they went above and beyond. I called and they had no openings and recommended I visit an emergency pet hospital close by. I was upset but of course understood and hung up and started making arraignments to visit the pet ER when I got a call back that someone had cancelled and I could bring him in right away. I'm really sorry that someone cancelled their surgery but so happy that my boy was able to be seen. A couple of days later and he is on his way to being 100% and I couldn't recommend this clinic enough.

After some testing, it was determined to be a MCT and we scheduled surgery right away. On surgery day, Dr. Brown and staff did a full scan and tested every little lump and bump, and found another MCT on my sweet boy. Because of Dr. Brown and the staff's diligence, we were able to remove both masses before they had a chance to spread. Skip to yesterday, we established care for my second pup. She has a bit of a rocky past and has been known to get a bit nippy, so naturally I have been dreading bringing her in to update vaccines. Well, I could not be more pleased with the outcome! Alex was so calm with her, communicating to the rest of the staff regarding her needs, and the whole appointment went better than I could have asked for! She even gave the staff a few kisses of approval after all the pokes were done. I have never written a review before, but Dr. Brown, Alex, and the front desk staff have been amazing to work with and deserve all the praises!

Arlington Animal Health Care Center should have immediately referred to the opthamologist but did not. My dog may now lose her eye as a result of their incompetence. I've seen both of the vets here (i learned they are brothers) and both have been knowledgeable and helpful. Always answered all my questions and made me feel like my cat is in good hands. She had a toe ulcer and needed an antibiotic shot, wound cleaning, and a cone - i included a photo of the invoice for transparency. Some other reviews mentioned pricing as an issue, and although it wasnt a cheap visit ~ i dont think the prices are astronomical. Medical care and having pets in general is expensive, but it's definitely not the veterinarians fault. They also recommended we get "MiconaHex+Triz" wipes from amazon for some cat acne she had on her chin and recommended we switch to a ceramic or glass bowl to prevent bacterial growth. Ive been coming here since 2021 and its always been a positive experience. The wait was a little long once we got in the waiting room, but i understand that there is a lot going on and lots of other pet patients to see and help so it makes sense! All the staff i have interacted with seem friendly and apologetic of any wait times as well! I feel that my cat is always well taken care of and i do feel like she is in good hands here!

He didn't force himself on my dog when she wasn't having it; he accepted it and waited till she was comfortable. Not to mention, he didn't just ask basic questions.. he wanted to KNOW about my dogs personality to better understand her situation and help both of us out. I would definitely recommend this Dr. great experience overall!

After refusing and just requesting antibiotics, the lump went away in a couple of days. Was it not an option to lance it to see if it was an infection? It just seemed like they were trying to worry us into an upsale of services. They took our cat out of the room to give it the antibiotic shot, and we heard a terrible cry from a cat outside the observation room. Shortly after, the tech brought him back in. I asked if that noise was our cat, and the tech said no and that he didn't react at all. C'mon... I would've understood because the lump was incredibly sensitive, but they just lied to us. Before this experience, we had brought our dog for an annual checkup. They provided a prescription for flea/tick/heartworm medications and gave us an online portal to purchase them. However, the prices on the portal were ridiculous. I submitted the prescriptions to Chewy and Chewy tried to call and verify, but never received a response. I tried to call the clinic and ask them to approve/send the prescription on their end to save us the time of mailing the prescription to Chewy, but I was placed on hold while the receptionist "changed computers." Then, I was transferred to someone else who asked me to wait on hold, and so I did. Then, without informing me, they transferred me again to a line with no voicemail and it hung up on me. Don't go here. They just want to upsell you services after making you paranoid for your pet's health and then will not approve any requests from other pharmacies to verify their prescription in an attempt to make you buy from their much more expensive online pharmacy.
