There also seems to be *more* produce compared to some other farmers markets in town. There are plenty of other great vendors selling things like meat, fresh bread, coffee beans, pastries etc. It's a wonderful way to stock up on fresh goods for the week. The fresh produce offered changes slightly depending on what is in season, but there is always something great to buy! I never leave unsatisfied. Many vendors accept cash, Venmo, and credit cards. There is also a tent where you can use your EBT or credit/ debit card to exchange for tokens if one vender is unable to take card. All the vendors but one except the tokens as payment. Like other farmers markets, there really isn't much seating except for a few public benches. If you do get ready to eat food it is usually not hard to eat while walking or standing. My go to favorite is the gyro! Overall a great stop for a bite to eat and quality farm fresh produce!

We ended up gathering a turkey wrap, broccoli cashew salad, and tomatoes for our dinner. They also sold a variety of soups and salads, kombuchas, fresh cut flowers, oats for breakfast and more. The broccoli cashew salad was fresh and delicious. I was a little bummed that the Turkey was but fresh cut and appeared to have preservatives/lunch meat texture. The staff we encountered were friendly and it was a great visit overall.

It also sells desserts such as pies, plants such as flowers, and other businesses' products such as canned goods. I bought two bags of fresh produce and a jar of honey. The total price was $39, which my husband thought was more expensive than regular grocery stores' prices. The employees did not greet me as I walked around the store, but I think that English is not their first language. The cashier did thank me and tell me to have a good day. Overall, I do not envision myself shopping here regularly, but I enjoyed browsing the products, and so far, these foods at home are tasting good.

I stopped here around 1:30 PM on a Sunday in July for the second market of the season. The Carnegie Farmers Market is held right on E Main Street, and spans about a block or so. There is a parking lot on one side of the street, or there is plenty of street parking all around. Carnegie is relatively flat, so it is an easy walk to the market wherever you end up parking. Hours of the market are Sundays from Noon to 3:00 PM in July and August, and 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in September. When we visited, there was a good amount of patrons around, but it was not overwhelmingly crowded. Many patrons had their dogs, so they are definitely welcome to the fun. There are a healthy amount of vendors, as well as businesses that line the street which are also open during the event. On the day we visited, there were nearly 40 vendors, in addition to the businesses in the area. Vendors range from farms, food stands, hand-made gifts and goods, alcoholic drinks, local organizations, and much more. The beauty of a market like this is that they will change weekly! Some of my personal favorites from this particular market day were Cox Woodwork out of Aliquippa, and the Mexa food stand. I also enjoyed the live music playing. They bring in a different musician/musical group weekly, so that is also something to look forward to seeing differently each visit. All of the different vendors will have different pricing, but I did not think anything was extremely expensive or unreasonable. There are select vendors that accept Fresh Access and SNAP, which allows dollars to stretch even further than they normally would! We ended up spending over an hour in the area, between the vendors on E Main Street and the surrounding businesses that were open. Markets like these create such a fun atmosphere and promote community. It was fun to walk around, browse, and see all that the market and Carnegie had to offer. I look forward to being able to stop here again this upcoming summer! This is a great market that seems to be growing in both size and popularity each year. I did a quick lap around to see what was available. I needed fresh produce, and I found exactly what I was looking for. There was a good selection of heirloom tomatoes at a few of the vendors. The Harvest Valley Farms table is huge and they always have a good selection for a reasonable price. They also take credit cards which is helpful. I can't get all of my groceries here, but it is nice to get some local produce in the middle of the week.

They sell pottery, crafts, art and sculptures, wallpaper, apparel and more. Occasionally they will have a maker take over where a local maker does a pop up shop in part of the store and you can learn more about their products. I was really impressed with the quality of the goods and really loved the products made overall. If I had more space in my luggage I would have loaded up for sure. This is a great concept and much needed store in the city.

Fridays only in May, then Things start rolling in June-August. Best part, this goes until November; it's covered, mostly enough parking except be prepared when corn season hits. Last Friday, the first market, Janoskis brought, French carrots, fennel, Sorrel, plants, tons of lettuces and cabbage- just to name a few. The AMAZING wood Street Bakery had their fresh breads, cinnamon rolls- so much good stuff that's hard to choose! And a new vendor came selling beautiful tulip bouquets.
