At this pharmacy the pharmacist was so kind and patient as I babbled my poor Spanish to him. He kindly looked up what I needed and I'm so thrilled that for 80 pesos (~2.00 USD) I obtained the RX I needed ( that in the US cost an additional $30 with great insurance). But let's not talk about big pharma. I recommend this pharmacy and it's conveniently located in the shopping mall with the movie theater!

He is very in tune and skilled and as someone who is sensitive to people's energy, I appreciated that. I also appreciated that he wore a mask during the entire massage. The location of Alma Thai is very convenient and close to the center in Colonia Hollywood, a charming neighborhood with cute shops and eateries. The massages are well priced for the level of skill and professionalism, $800 pesos, roughly $40/hr. I highly recommend Alma Thai!

Also, Christian speaks great English, which I enjoyed, as my Spanish isn't strong. I'll likely be returning and would definitely recommend.

Then I got there and started reading all of the horrible reviews (On Google reviews) AND I BECAME TERRIFIED. They require $2000 up front before they start ANYTHING. They don't want to deal with insurance: they want cash. I sat there and worried like crazy while I imagined the worst: we'd be stuck there for days, at their mercy, not knowing if anything they tell me is true, or if they're just trying to milk me for every penny I had. Ultimately we left after about 5 hours feeling like we were treated fairly and professionally. Paid $1850 for the visit and left with 4 prescriptions and felt well.

Yesterday my wife had a stomach infection she was admitted and treated , I was terrified as to how much I was gonna pay this time , well they came and ask for $5000.00 pesos guaranteed. Why in pesos you may ask ? Well because my wife is Mexican and she had a Mexican passport . So what a difference our bill was only $219 dollars - I won't say they are bad practice they really have good doctors and good service , but for a foreigner it will cost you.

I started seeing Emily after being cleared following my C-section. Everything hurt. My body was out of alignment, my wrists were inflamed, and I was carrying so much tension. Holding my baby was difficult and painful. I don't normally get bodywork, but I made a commitment to taking care of myself so I could be the best version for my child. I walked out of my first session feeling lighter, stronger, more grounded, and like my body had gotten a facelift. Her work is deep and intense, and there can be some short-term discomfort, but it has been worth it. Emily communicates clearly throughout the treatment and creates such a calm, zen experience. I especially appreciate that she makes space for consent throughout the process and allows me to be an active participant in my care. Just as I was reaching the end of my massage package, I broke my foot. I continued treatment with Emily to support my recovery alongside physical therapy. I had nerve overstimulation and rebound pain after surgery and she was able to re-regulate me. Being able to bring my baby and nanny with me has also been such a wonderful experience. Both were amazing!!!! The staff was friendly and it was very easy to book using their online system. They got back to me within minutes. One tip....the address shows Playa Del Carmen when you search it but the spa is in Cozumel. This was a bit confusing. Do not hesitate to book.
