We were to do a televisit with the tests but due to the heat and humidity, the seals were no longer sticking rendering the kits invalid. We arrived from Rome in Florence two days before the cruise. So helpful! I had…read moretwisted my ankle while traveling the day before and was in terrible pain. I couldn't take much more, so I limped over to this Farmacia for help. Mostly through non-verbal communication, I explained what I needed to the clerk, who had me sit on a short stool in a semi-private area. He came over with a compressive support brace for my ankle and let me try it on. It fit perfectly and really helped with the pain, so I wore it out of the pharmacy. I believe it was 14 euro. This is a really convenient pharmacy as it is around the corner from our place and is open late at…read morenight almost every day. The only problem I find is that the staff is not so nice. At all pharmacies in Italy, you can ask their pharmacists advice about some ailment you may be having and they will gladly recommend a product. But at Cortesi, I tend to avoid asking anything at all since they don't tend to be friendly or helpful. However, they will order any medicine or product they do not have in stock and it will arrive within a day or two. All in all, it serves it's purpose, as long as you don't expect service with a smile!
