Farm foods is at the new Byron's Place shopping centre. It is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. You may have to queue to get into the carpark however as there is only one entry and there are traffic lights into the car park.
There was a group of kids outside Farm Foods last time we went. They were behaving very roudy, shouting and swearing. I mentioned it to the security man when we went into the the store but he didn't do anything. Not great!
The shop itself is big and has loads of freezers full of bargains. Well mostly bargains. Looking at some of the food that we would buy at say Asda or Morrisons some where a 1p or 2p dearer at Farm Foods. There were some things like cans of pop and baby jars that were a lot cheaper than the local supermarkets.
I think like most shops you have to look carefully at the prices and compare around to make sure you are getting a good deal.
There was plenty of stock in the shop.
The queues at the till were quite long, about 4 people in front of me. The assistant did ring the bell to get extra help. read more
