This is a fabulous shop if you have money to burn! It stocks a hugh array of seasonal stock. Prices can be very expensive but they do provide designer makes. It is worth looking in during the Sale season of January and July as items can be reduced to less than half price. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and willing to help and advise with your purchases without pushing you into making a wrong decision. I was looking for a pair of ski boots and the staff member was quite happy to spend time letting me try on a number of pairs and in the end advising that he would not recommend any as they did not provide me with the correct support, without this advice I would have bought the wrong pair!

Snow & Rock have been branching out all across the country in recent years..and I can see why they have had so much success. The Port Solent branch, built only a few years ago, is beautifully housed in a gigantic purpose built 'Ski Lodge' next to the Paramount Cinema in the car park. A wonderful theme that truly embraces what Snow & Rock is all about..but the pizazz doesn't end there. Once you step inside your 'Chamonix abode' it suddenly dawns on you that you will be spending MANY hours in herethe sheer number of products available is astounding..and as result in my opinion, this branch is the most complete to date. I have shopped in many Snow & Rock stores across the country during my annual family holidays but this one just has everything you could ever need, where as others do tend to fall short. Snow & Rock are not a budget conscious company, nor do they pretend to be. The best way to gauge them is.. somewhere around 'good to best' quality products. Here you will find all the big quality brand names from all across the world under one roof..and you will pay for the privilege. The staff I find very good here too and in large numbers, although I wouldn't say they were excellent. They clearly know their designated 'areas' of the store well when asked but they're often talking to one another rather than tidying and therefore I'm rarely approached or asked if I require assistance even when I'm making an effort to get their attention..a little too 'hands-off' off for my liking. In Summary, a beautifully designed and executed Snow & Rock branch with a vast selection of quality merchandise, certainly the most complete I have ever shopped in. But you will need to be patient with the staff; they aren't very attentive until prodded. I score Snow & Rock Port Solent a firm 4/5.

Considering you've blocked me on Facebook and pretty much told everyone your not doing anything…read moreabout it I will post on here for everyone to see Mr Steven Trowern. I have reason to believe you are currently running the WPM sports and social Club. I would like to make an official complaint regarding a member of your staff. On Thursday the 6th July at approximately 11pm. I was verbally assaulted by a member of your staff and felt physically threatened. I was sat in the smoking area outside of the club having a quiet drink with your son. Andy Trowern when a member of your staff. Laura Jones came out to have a cigarette. She noticed me and Andy having our drink and didn't not say anything at that present time. She finished her cigarette and went back inside the club. A few minutes later she came out and was verbally abusive towards myself. Andy then stood up in my defence. Laura has had an on going conflict with my best friend Kayleigh Lewis. She then decided to turn her anger of the situation towards myself. This is victimising me and in a practice where you are working in a face to face situation with customers you should not be permitted to use personal reasons to then abuse members of the public. This is not acting in a professional manner. Laura then said I must finish my drink and leave the premises. Andy continued to defend me stating that I had done nothing wrong and that her issues with Kayleigh was nothing to do with myself. Things started to get heated as she began to shout, scream and stood in your sons face in a threatening manner. Whilst may I add we where completely calm. I stood up to defuse the situation and it was at this point Laura grabbed my drink and threw it out of the glass across the floor. I stated to her that the drink was paid for and I'd like a refund. She then became more abusive towards us. It was at this point we decided things clearly couldn't be resolved so we would leave on our own accord. As went headed towards the gates of the property to leave. Laura then launched the glass at us resulting in it smashing at our feet and leaving me with several small cuts to my ankles. This as you are fully aware is assault. This behaviour is not on by staff towards paying customers of the club. I have decided to write to you asking for you to deal with this matter as I now feel vulnerable and threatened to come into the club. She also stated through her screaming she was bar management and as you are fully aware this is not appropriate behaviour for management to act and she is also in breach of health and safety throwing the glass at us. I will give you the opportunity to sort this matter and check the cctv before I go to the police and take this matter further to Gosport borough council. I have been made aware that your club is committing a breach of your license and have already obtained your clubs reference number. 11/0002/LAPREC. Of which I will follow through with a full complaint. I believe 7 days is a reasonable amount of time for you to process my complaint and make sure appropriate action is taken. If I do not here from you by the 15th July 2017. I will have no other choice but to take this matter further. Many thanks Kimberley Rowland
