DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!…read more I visited the store today in response to their mailer seeking jewelry to purchase and have never been treated so rudely in my entire life in any establishment. I was in the store for mere minutes and was completely insulted by two unrefined, tactless saleswomen. I brought diamond earrings and a pearl necklace to see if they might be interested in purchasing them, and I was scoffed at for the small amount of jewelry I brought. I was told they couldn't possibly take just these few items. I couldn't care less whether they wanted to buy the items or not, but the rudeness was unbelievable. The real kicker came when they were reviewing the diamond earrings to see if they might take them, and the second saleswoman snarkily said, "If they're even real...." They are, in fact, 100% real and of excellent quality, and I am happily selling them at another jewelry store that treats customers with kindness and respect. I am aghast at this kind of treatment, especially during the holidays. Why even bother sending out a mailer requesting jewelry if this is how you're going to treat people? I will never step foot in this place again and have told everyone I know what an incredibly rude and awful experience this was.

I recently needed a piece of jewelry repaired and was on a tight timeline. In the past, I hadn't…read morealways had the best experience with repairs being handled efficiently, so I asked a friend for a recommendation. Without hesitation, she suggested Tina at Barclay's Jewelers. I stopped by during my lunch break and immediately understood why. Tina took the time to listen to what I needed, offered thoughtful advice about shortening a necklace, and made the entire process seamless. The repair was completed in record time, and I even received a notification as soon as it was ready for pickup. What truly impressed me, however, was what happened next. I recently lost part of an earring that had originally been custom-made elsewhere. I had always felt the closure wasn't particularly secure, so when one earring was lost, I was heartbroken. I brought the remaining earring to Barclay's hoping they could recreate it. Not only were they able to make a perfect match, but they also suggested a more secure screw-back closure and upgraded the pearls. When I originally had the earrings custom-made, I specifically asked whether the closure could be made more secure and was told it wasn't possible. Barclay's immediately identified a simple solution that not only solved the problem but likely would have prevented me from losing the original earring in the first place. The finished earrings are absolutely beautiful, and I have complete confidence that they will stay securely in place. Their attention to detail, practical expertise, and commitment to doing things the right way made all the difference. As a bonus, during my visits I discovered that Tina is close friends with a family I know and love. Hearing the wonderful things they had to say about Tina, her family, and their business only reinforced the impression I had already formed. Barclay's has earned a customer for life. Whether you're looking to purchase fine jewelry, need a repair, or want something custom-made, I highly recommend them. Exceptional service, excellent craftsmanship, and genuinely kind people. Five stars, without hesitation.
