Cotton candy could be the most ingenious, ageless sugary sweet substance ever to grace our planet. I can think of a few that come close (gummy bears, funnel cake, fun dip, taffy, pop rocks) but in my humble opinion, the interstellar trippy orb of algodón azucarado knocks 'em all off the ladder. Why? It's three dimensional: a crafty work of art, a wild child to pluck and a magician in your mouth, at once a mass and suddenly vanished. I have every intention of removing my dentures and chowing on the stuff when I'm 64. Fantastic Jumps delivered the candy crack machine twice the other night, first to my own residence - which was not intended, my fault - and then to the party - intended - and they still made it there before the doors officially opened. Nice guys, quick setup, easy to use, and they were promptly back when the fun was over. Between those hours, a crowd of grown up kiddos munched on the pink stuff while they exploited their alcoholic tastebuds and flavor hacked (don't ask). The price was reasonable. Let's approach this from the perspective of the physics of a children's birthday party.. . Newton tells us of the "conservation of energy." Basically, all that energy from all those kids is going to go somewhere, either into your house, into your yard, or into, onto and through the adults. Or, all that energy could go into a giant inflatable jumpy house leaving your house 90% cleaner, your yard 80% cleaner and your adults 110% younger.
