I've been getting my eyelashes done at Amazing Lash for years... This is the first visit to fantastic I lash in Syosset... I am obsessed with my lashes, thank you so much Joanna I'll see you again soon!!

Don't ever come here for anything. I was looking to get an eyelash perm because my other regular location was booked. Eyelashes came out terrible, they had to re do them, which then took over an hour in total. Karen didn't tell me how messed up they were until i started getting suspicious and pulled my phone camera on to see them since she wouldn't let me see them and then she proceeded to say she had to do them again. I should have left then. She then re did it and my eyelashes were pointing in all different directions. I then began questioning the technician as to why she was putting water on my eyes and she got offended I was questioning her skills meanwhile I have every right to question the technician when not only is she working on MY face but I am paying for this service too. She was EXTREMELY unprofessional told me to shutup and to stop questioning her skills. She started taking pictures of my face too when I told her no and kept shoving her phone in my face when I said no multiple times. I paid full price and ended up coming back because I realized how absurd this was that I paid $140 to look awful. I asked for a refund because this was not the service I paid for. She started yelling at me telling she knows exactly the type of person I am and wants things free. Why would I pay the full price from the start if that was my intention? Not only did I get a bad service but I was getting verbally attacked for something she messed up on and it somehow turned on me? I don't know how any business owner can run a business with this attitude. Absolutely disgusted that a person could act like this too. As for the front desk person she was very nice and I felt bad for her I could tell she was uncomfortable and felt bad and even apologized to me in the end meanwhile she did absolutely nothing wrong and was professional the entire time. Fantastic I lash is an extremely clean salon with a friendly staff and skilled technicians. The beds and the application is so comfy I always fall asleep no matter how hard I try not to. Throughout the entire application I don't feel a thing and I've been to places that I would literally feel pricks on my lashes as they are working. I live in Manhattan and I make the trip to LI for these lashes cuz they deserve the best care. I've experienced where chunks of my natural lashes fall off in the past at places in the city. Since I've been going to this place, my natural lashes are still in tact whenever all the falsies come off. read more

I did like this establishment at first. My first set was beautiful. Lasted the 2 weeks. I went in for a fill in (even though it wasn't needed yet). Followed all instructions. I did not get them wet. I did not rub them. I did not put any makeup on them whatsoever. After 3 days. The lashes starting falling out extremely fast. More than what the Normal "shedding" is supposed to. When I contacted the owner her response was "I cannot fix them for you without charging you and that I should come in once a week and pay the full amount instead of every two weeks". Very unprofessional and doesn't seem to care if the client is hapoy or not. Just wants to make money. I will not be going back and also informed my co-worker to cancel her first time appointment. read more

I posted a review about Fantastic I lash a couple of years ago but I think they deserve another one from me. I don't know why anyone would put anything less than a 5 star rating. I have now been going to Fantastic Ilash for years. Not only are they professional, they are talented artists and take pride in what they do. In addition, they are the sweetest group of woman. I was there the day before I buried my brother and they comforted me and discounted their fee. They are very special people and my lashes ALWAYS look natural and beautiful! Firstly, I came with my friend & I asked nicely if she can come in the room with me & they said that it was fine. She was standing on her phone not speaking at all. To then be told that the lady couldn't concentrate. My friend was respectful and left to wait in the waiting room. Two minutes later 2 employees there came in the room to talk loudly the WHOLE time I was getting my lashes done. Three days later 50% have fallen out! Horrible place!!!! Never going back!!!! read more

So I've been coming here for a few months now and love my girls work. She uses a new glue on me and the lashes didn't hold. I called and they got me in right away. They said at no charge to Come in and get them fixed. Okay. So I just left and not very happy. The woman at the front goes $50 please. I said wait that's not what I wS told. She started yelling at the girl that does my lashes. I told her she shouldn't talk to her like that especially in front of customers. She started yelling at me. Told her she didn't have to be nasty. Well I didn't expect this, she started calling me racist names and threatening me. That will be the last time I'll every step back in that place. Not sure what happened to the old manager, but if you see this contact. I'll like to know you where you are working so I can come to You for lashes. read more

I am utterly shocked and appalled by the services and customer service received from this establishment. I came in for a lash lift and my lashes literally were not lifted at all, they were pin straight after the hour treatment. I didn't feel I should have to pay full price for a service that wasn't fulfilled , so I attempted to ( very calmly) reason with them and offered to pay half of the fee. After being verbally abused ( no really -I was called all types of names by the owner/manager ) for five minutes , the higher powers compromised a half price fee. Very disturbing to say the least. read more

This is my go to place for my eye lashes. Joanne is my favorite! She is so careful with me and understands my needs and adjusts based off if them. I go to college in Rhode Island and i always get my lashes filled and done here. Amazing people with amazong cutomer service!!! read more

Amazing. So sweet. They didn't try to sell me on eyelashes that weren't my fit like other places do. I explained exactly what I wanted. Prices are very reasonable. Dropped wax in Hair and no apology. My first review of anyplace because I hate to say bad things about a business. This place is AWFUL. I have just come back from there and I can't tell you how bad the expericen was. The girl dropped the wax stick in my hair while doing my eyebrows. Ok an accident. Then they start cleaning my hair with alcohol. I told them I had a 2 month old baby in the car with my mother and one of the girls has the audacity to tell me "it's my choice I want to stay or leave". Not a single apology from any of the 3 girls who are there. They say the wax will come out with a shower - it won't so easily - and if I have a problem I can come back. Truly a nightmare and horrendous service. There is also no parking so if I were you, I would avoid this place. read more

I purchased a Groupon for this establishment. I was supposed to receive A full brand new set of mink eyelashes. I was not given mink but regular eyelashes. When I arrived they wanted to know how many times I used Groupon before. I had no idea how Groupon worked and I advised him them that this was my first time using the products. The owner came out and said this is your last time using this coupon. We can't just keep getting Groupon members, we need to make money. This was all done right in the front area. That was extremely unprofessional, and made me feel uncomfortable. I purchased two coupons for myself and my mother. My mother did not get her eyelashes done. She felt as though the way things were handled she did not want to spend her money there. HOWEVER I was still charged $141.00. AFTER ALL OF THIS THE EYELASHES HAVE ALL FALLEN OFF. My little sister is getting married today 11-10-17 and my lashes were done 11-8-17. So they lasted a whole day! So I paid $141 to see my eyelashes on the hotel bed this morning. The owner was angry because we used groupon but that's where she choose to advertise her business! read more

Very happy with my lashes. Sophia did a great job and they look very natural. I am usually very sensitive to anything on my eyes, but she used a sensitive type adhesive and I didn't feel a thing. I will definitely be returning read more

This was where my lash extension journey began. They did an amazing job explaining all the different options and how I should properly maintain my lashes. Very friendly and accommodating technicians; very relaxing atmosphere, as it should be! Never had damage to my natural lashes which is usually very common in a lot of salons. Had one fill in session in which a lot of the lashes started falling out on my drive home, when I called about it they were very understanding of the situation; came back the next morning and they did an amazing job removing most and redoing them! Amazing service and quality; they care about their customers. Highly recommend to anyone in Long Island! read more

I got a groupon for this place for a full set of lashes and a 2 week follow up visit. The first time I went , I was very happy with the results. When i went for follow up , not so much. She only did about 1/2 the amount of lashes. So when, I went back for my fill a couple weeks later , I asked her to do the same "as first time i came". She did NOT . AGAIN , she only did about 1/2 amount . Also, my bottom lashes were all COMPLETELY GONE . I went back one more time and asked AGAIN for the FULL LOOK i got originally AND i asked why my bottom lashes were ALL GONE. They said that's normal and sold me a very expensive lash serem. WELL, my lashes ALL BEGAN falling out VERY QUICKLY after that. I had to make appointment somewhere else to even try to look halfway decent . My bottom lashes are just about growing out again. UGH read more

Will not be coming here again. People who worked there were very rude when it came to rescheduling an appointment. I had something come up for work and I tried to reschedule the day before my appointment to another day in the week, and I had to pay five extra dollars and was berated on the phone. I said I wasn't told there would be a charge for rescheduling, the woman who worked there said that I was told and that I was just "not listening." I also got a text the night before telling me to "remind myself" to make it to my appointment. The actual lashes themselves don't even look that great. Ive gone to tons of lash places that were cheaper and it never hurt to get my lashes in. It felt like glue got in my eyes, and this is the only place that left my eyes red for a few days after. No one even noticed I had lash extensions lol. read more

Only gets a few stars due to cleanliness. Their prices are egregiously high and they always try to sell you on pricier deals. I literally sat one day and "counted" the lashes - they try to make you pay $30 more for "more lashes" and it was literally not even the amount they made me pay more for. This place is a SCAM SCAM SCAM they will rob you - find somewhere else. read more

I am so upset and will never recommend this place to anyone!! I got my lashes done 6 days ago. My first 3 days majority came out, mostly on my left eye making me look weird. Me and my co workers got a good laugh but I didn't have any intention on calling them or having them fix it. On day 6 on my left eye all my lashes broke!!! I went there basically in tears and the response was "well I don't know what you did" I've had full lashes prior and I am sick to my stomach that she wouldn't give me my money back!! She said I can fill them in for you!! there are no lashes even there to put extensions on!!! So disappointed!!!! UPDATE!! The owner called me and started screaming at me!!! I couldn't understand exactly what she was saying. I asked repeatedly for her to calm down so I can listen and we can talk. She kept on asking where I live and where I work. It was scary! I had to hang up on her and she kept calling me back I had to block her!! I've never experienced anything like this before!!! Choose wisely ladies!!! read more

Originally found this place because I was looking for a place nearby my work. I had another place that I tried out, but I was going because of a friend and she lives in Jersey. Needless to say, I was very very happy to find this place! They helped me figure out exactly what I wanted to do, because I did want something more dramatic than what we had before. They were great in helping me, even though I wasn't that knowledgeable & so warm in general! Made the process very, very easy. read more

Very professional and courteous. Service here was excellent! She spent a lot of time applying my lashes perfectly but I didn't like their mink lash quality and removed them a week later. It's too thick. Soho lashes are better read more

My 2 visits the this salon have been wonderful. It seems they really want you to enjoy your experience. Everything was explained clearly to me at my first visit. I discovered them on Groupon and took my chances. I'm glad I did. The place is clean and heathy. They customized exactly what I wanted from the length to the volume. I went on trip to Saint lucia for 7 days and was in the pool every single day, my lashes stayed in tact. After two weeks I went back for a fill and once again was happy. So many people compliment me on my lashes and how natural they look everyday! I will def use them for all my lash extensions in the future. read more

Since the manger & the owner now want to be rude and hang up on me after waiting 4 days for them to reach out to me I will make sure no one goes to this place EVER AGAIN ! .. I paid to get my eyelashes done and that SAME DAY they came off ! I called and even went in the next day and they were very rude made me wait for them to FIX AN ERROR they had made ! Long story short .. EVERYONE in there is extremely rude there prices are EXTREMELY HIGH , there quietly of work LACKS . They don't know how to treat people nor do they know how to do eyelashes . Just got off the phone with the OWNER AND THE MANAGER , and they are just as bad as they service ! DO NOT EVEN THINK OF GOING THERE AGAIN . BEWARE OF A CRAZY WOMEN IN THIS PLACE This is the worst place to go. I was treated terrible!!!! Not sure who the technican was ... but she yelled and screamed at me because I asked her to even out the lashes. One eye looked very difference than the other. Told me I stressed her out and Screamed at me Merry Christmas. - Totally unacceptable. I have never ever been treated like that in any nail or salon ever. She did not like the fact that I had a groupon! Why are you putting your business on Groupon? I will never go there and will tell everyone to stay away from this UNPROFESSIONAL establishment. I am not sure who gives this women the right to yell at people. When I looked at the other reviews - I knew I had to write this too. read more

Wow!!! I am so impressed with this business from the ease of scheduling the appointment to the skill of lady applying my lashes my experience was amazing! I no longer have my lashes from here but when I was going I went every two weeks and received the basic fill. I originally purchased the set from Groupon and was definitely happy with the purchase, but it did add up over time with their regular price. Overall my experience here was very nice, everything is very clean and comfortable. My eyes are kind of sensitive so they did tear a lot during application but everyone was nice about it and gave me breaks if needed. One time my lashes started falling out the first day and I came back the next day and they retouched everything free of charge which was amazing! I would definitely recommend them. read more

I joined Lash Box's mentorship program expecting structured training, including volume lash…read moretechniques, and opportunities to grow professionally within the team. After I got certified I asked how come the class didn't include learning volume sets. I did get a student discount at $597.00. I feel I should have learned how to lash volume before receiving a certification. I asked how can you teach me volume the way her previous student learned who I was re placed with and she suggested to take her mentorship program that most places that certify teach less than what was taught. My experience, however, was disappointing in the mentorship. I observed that another student received more complete training, while I was gradually sidelined and not fully taught some of the promised techniques. During this time, I was asked to perform tasks unrelated to lashes, which offered little personal gain toward what I signed up for. I was re focused to perform professional make up which was a distraction for me while she planned to bring back another experienced lash artist then she paid advertising for more business. Attempts to ask questions or clarify expectations were met with resistance, and communication and transparency were lacking. I had been going to school and trying to get my state license. I do have extra time on tests and I disclosed my learning disability in hope she would have patience with me while in cosmetology school and studying for exams. From when I did her class separately and school in about a years time I still don't know how to do volume lashes with out pre ordered fans which is not professional devoted lash artists would dismiss teaching their students like in this case. There wasn't many customers to practice on and days spent waiting for people to walk in. I also feel it's important to clarify that I have since been told it was represented that I chose to leave the Lash Box team in the community which served her as a platform to gossip about me however, that was not my experience. I was removed. I share this to give potential mentees a clearer understanding of the mentorship structure and environment. In addition, I brought my own clients that still frequent at $180 every two weeks or less since last year into the salon and contributed to the business beyond what was provided to me through the program. I also connected her with students who signed up with her. I felt optimistic she would look after me in this way after we discussed and posted our plans publically. One client later asked me months in advance to participate in a professional on-set backstage opportunity, which was not something offered through the salon. After accepting that opportunity independently, I experienced resistance and felt this contributed to how I was treated moving forward. She tried to book this client not understanding the clients needs with another student she favored. It caused unnecessary confusion. Especially after she contacted my family after I let her know it caused unnecessary issues for me in the past. I felt disrespected.

I've been getting eyelash extensions for about 10 years now. I took a chance with Fantastic I Lash and it was an experience like no other salon that I've been to. The ladies are so friendly and make sure that you understand what to expect and that they know exactly how you want your lashes to look! My technician was Joanna and she really had a mess on her hands because the last tech from a different salon destroyed my own eyelashes and glued my pores shut... what a mess!!! Joanna was so gentle and patient in removing and cleaning everything and so passionate about how I felt and put a beautiful set of lashes on me! With the mess that I was in when arrived, I was surprised that she was able to make them look so natural. Also, anyone else that had come in while I was there said they were so happy, too and they had seen other technicians there...and guess what?....they do bottom lashes, too... a lot of salons will not do this. I have been getting my eyelashes done for the past few years in Los Angeles, where I live. I found Fantastic Lash which is located in Syosset where I am originally from. I have gotten my eyelashes done at Fantastic Lash twice in the past year and a half when I am home to visit, and have my third appointment tomorrow. I have had a great experience. They are professional and experienced and use good quality products. I am very picky and I appreciate that their staff were able to accommodate my needs. I also am nervous about going to new places in fear that I would be sensitive to the glue and have had no problems. I like that they have my information on file and are very organized because I can't remember what I have had done the last time. This place is amazing! i usually don't write reviews but this place deserves it! They just opened up and I was looking for a place to get mink eyelash extensions. When my friend and I walked in we were immediately greeted by the workers who were extremely welcoming. When we had to fill out the forms for what style eyelashes we wanted, the workers helped us find exactly what we were looking for and what would look the best on us! I have had eyelash extensions done before and I can tell that these women took their time compared to past experience. But to sum it all up my eyelashes look AMAZING and it was worth it. I am very disappointed! Loved my first experience 7 years ago. Went last year... ok experience. Didn't last very long. I blamed the air quality problem with wildfire pollution... thought I was at fault. Went last week... the person seemed to have problems with the first eye she took forever to... other eye faster. They didn't give me any instructions when I was leaving... just told me prices for fill ins. Now a little over a week later... the lashes on the first eye are mostly gone... fell off in clumps and the other eye has a few groups of lashes. Won't be going back! read more

The owner is rude and nasty. The girls that apply the lashes and work at the front desk are very pleasant but the owner is a witch. Bought a groupon for mink lashes and they put fake, artificial lashes on that started falling out soon after being applied and they had a glare on them. Parking is not good either.
