The facility was clean and comfortable, making the experience even more enjoyable. Melody was absolutely fantastic! She was knowledgeable and able to answer all the questions I had, great personality and made me feel at ease with my decision of a nose piercing. She absolutely blew me away. Her gentle touch, attention to detail, and just overall grit to perform at top level made for a masterpiece of a tattoo. Of course a tattoo hurts, but I mean it when I say she is incredibly gentle. This complainer made it through 12 hours and was still smiling. After the tattoo was finished with a very crooked arrow, the artist stated "have you ever had to draw a straight line on someone's skin". Strangely, they listed their name online as STONE COLD TATTOO but when you go to the address the name is called SHAMAN CORNER instead of STONE COLD TATTOO. This happened to a friend of mine and I can't wait for us to get back to College Station, TX to have a real artist fix this problem for my friend. If it were possible to give less than one star on this app I would give this place 0.5. At least they used a sterile technique. Ask for credentials, where apprenticeship was completed before choosing an artist.

Every time I attempted to explain something she would interrupt me and then turn around with "her idea". The frustrating part was that "her idea" was what I was saying all along. It felt extremely degrading because she did this over and over. She kept asking what my husband thought instead of asking what I thought. She literally would look up at my husband (who was sitting down) and asked him, "I don't know, what do you think?"... She barely made eye contact with me the entire time. I came to her because I wanted to get a tattoo on MY body and I already had MY design drawn up. It completely felt like I was invisible. I haven't felt this disrespected in a very long time. To top it off she originally said that my design didn't make sense and needed to be completely redrawn...funny enough, by the end of our "discussion" she ended up drawing exactly what I had originally designed and was claiming it as "her idea"... again! I had high hopes for this place and was strongly disappointed.

Although she already had several cool sketches based on a picture I sent her, we ended up needing more time to work on the revision - but then she was willing to help me create a different original tattoo during our time. She is a very talented artist, knows what makes a good tattoo, and will be honest with you and take the time to work with you to formulate the best design. As advertised, she truly is a light-handed tattoo artist, as my shoulder piece was hardly uncomfortable at all and she works quickly and precisely on the finest details. Finally, she is really just an overall cool person and loves the work. I will be seeing her again for more ink as time allows!
